WHAT IS ROBOTICS?
“Robotics” has always been a star attraction at IdEEEas, drawing participants to
showcase their creations in an event where nothing is impossible. The Robotics
event at IdEEEas-2k25 features four thrilling competitions: The manual bot
competition (Robo race), the autonomous bot competition (line follower), Fast-
N-Furious and Robo Soccer. The electrifying energy and groundbreaking
creativity of these events promise to thrill audiences and participants alike
making it an unmissable spectacle for every tech enthusiast.
GENERAL RULES
Each team can have a maximum of 4 participants (for team games).
All students with a valid identity card of their respective colleges are
eligible to participate in the event.
A team may consist of students from a different college.
The organizers reserve the right to modify the rules as necessary.
Judges decision will be final and binding to all.
Bots should not be disassembled until the results are declared.
The teams will have to take care of their stock of batteries.
FLOW OF EVENT
The event comprises 4 sub-events. For the LFR and Robo Race competitions,
participants are required to bring and operate their own bots on a designated
path. For FnF and Robo Soccer, the bots will be provided.
The components that are required must be bought by the participants.
In navigate a black line on a white background with autonomous bots.
LFR: The autonomous bot must navigate a black line on a white background.
Robo Race: Participants bring their own bots to complete a designated path.
Robo Soccer: Participants control pre-programmed bots to score goals in a
speedy soccer game.
Fast N Furious: Participants will operate bots provided by the organizers and
navigate through a maze.
SUB EVENT-1 : LFR
In this event, the participants have to bring their bots and run them on a
provided lane.
Robots should be wireless.
Robots should be prepared prior in hand, no time will be given during the
event.
The robot path must NOT be saved in robots.
Required elements must be bought by the participants only.
Judge's decisions will be final.
Arena description:
The base of the arena is made up of a white-colored flex sheet on
which black colored line is printed or can be pasted (For both
qualifying and final round).
The thickness of the line will be 3cm (0.5cm tolerance).
The course line may have acute, obtuse, right angles and curves.
The course line may also have discontinuities at various points.
Bot specifications:
Robots must be autonomous.
There is no restriction on the motors' size, weight, and RPM of motors.
The designer's responsibility is to design a robot that can finish the race in
the least time.
No lego kits or vega kits are allowed. If any robot is found skeptical, it will
be immediately disqualified.
The voltage should not exceed 12V between any two points in the
circuit.
SUB EVENT-2 : ROBO RACE
In this event, the participants have to bring their bots and run them on a
provided lane.
Robots can be wired or wireless.
The power supply used can be a maximum of 12 Volts which can either be on
board or off board. IC Engines are not allowed.
Sufficient wire should be bought, 3 meters minimum for the wired bots.
The bot should fit in a box of dimensions 30cm x 30cm x 30cm.
Robots should be prepared prior in hand, no time will be given during the event,
participants must not step inside the lane.
The robot path must NOT be saved in robots.
Required elements must be bought by the participants only.
Judge's decisions will be final.
SUB EVENT-3 : FAST-N-FURIOUS
It is a SOLO event.
In this event, the bots will be provided to the participants.
Participants must use the provided bots to solve the maze (puzzle).
They are not allowed to disassemble or modify the bots in any way.
Judge's decision will be final.
SUB EVENT-4 : ROBO SOCCER
It is a SOLO event.
In this event, the bots will be provided to the participants.
Time limit is 3 minutes.
Five balls are placed at specified locations on the arena.
Participants can push, drive or hit the ball into any of the goal posts.
Whoever makes 5 goals within the minimum time period will consider as
winner.
They are not allowed to disassemble or modify the bots in any way.
Judge's decision will be final.

Can two participants use the same robot for Line follower or other events?
No, each team should build their robot.
