DATA INTERPRETATION

1. What percentage of employees are in all three func ons?

Total employees = 150

Ra o of men to women = 7:8
So, men = 150 × (7/15) = 70
Women = 150 - 70 = 80

People in all three func ons = 2 men + 3 women = 5 employees

Percentage = (5/150) × 100 = 3.33%
Answer: (1) 3.33

LOGICAL REASONING

4. Is the smallest deposit less than 2.5 crore?

Given:

 Average of 3 deposits = 3 crore → Total = 9 crore

 I. Highest deposit = 3.9 crore

 II. One of the other two deposits = 2.1 crore

Using both:
Let deposits be A, B, C.
Max = 3.9, One = 2.1
So, third = 9 - 3.9 - 2.1 = 3.0 crore
Now compare both unknowns: 2.1 and 3.0 → smallest is 2.1 < 2.5

Both statements are required.

Answer: (3)

5. Net change comparison in wage sequences

Quan ty A: +20%, then -10%

New = 1.2 × 0.9 = 1.08 → 8% increase

Quan ty B: -10%, then +20%

New = 0.9 × 1.2 = 1.08 → 8% increase

Answer: (3) Equal

6. Musicians - violin alone or flute alone

Total = 120
All three = 5% of 120 = 6
Only two instruments = 30
Only guitar = 40

Let violin alone + flute alone = x

So,
Total = only guitar (40) + only violin/flute (x) + only two (30) + all three (6)
So, 120 = 40 + x + 30 + 6 → x = 44
Answer: (3) 44
7. Raj Gopal from Village C to D: Direc on?

Visualize:

 C is 18 km east of B

 A is 20 km north of B → D is 12 km west of A
→ So A is (0, 20), B (0, 0), C (18, 0), D is at (-12, 20)

From C (18, 0) to D (-12, 20) → x = -30, y = +20

Direc on = North-West
Answer: (1) North-West

8. Asser on & Reason - Stress

 A: Stress is common in modern life — True

 R: Absence of medita on/religion — maybe true for some, but not sole reason

So both may be true, but R is not correct explana on

Answer: (1)

9. Cube - Opposite of brown

Given:

 Red opposite black

 Green between red and black → side face

 Blue adjacent to white, brown adjacent to blue

 Red is face down → black is up

Visualize rela ve posi ons:

→ If brown adjacent to blue, blue adjacent to white → implies white is opposite green

But as per adjacency, if red is bo om, green is a side, black is top → likely brown is side
Side opposite brown = white
Answer: (3) white

10. Series: 5G7, 7H10, 10I14, 14J19 ___

Number pa ern:
5→7 (+2), 7→10 (+3), 10→14 (+4) → next = 14 + 5 = 19
Second part: G, H, I, J → next = K
Last number: 7→10 (+3), 10→14 (+4), 14→19 (+5) → next = 19 + 6 = 25

Answer: 19K25
Answer: (4)

QUANTITATIVE APTITUDE

11. Taps A (12 hr), B (15 hr), C (20 hr)

A always on: 1/12 per hour

B and C alternate 1 hour each
So in 2-hour cycle:
1 hour A + B = 1/12 + 1/15 = 3/20
1 hour A + C = 1/12 + 1/20 = 2/15
Total in 2 hours = 3/20 + 2/15 = (9 + 8)/60 = 17/60
So in 2-hour: 17/60 filled → Time = 60/17 × 2 ≈ 7.05 hours

Answer: (1) 7 hours

12. Socks mistake - 50% increased bill

Let price of brown = x, then black = 2x

Let brown pairs = b
Original: 4 × 2x + b × x = 8x + bx
Mistake: 4x + 2bx
Increased by 50%:

(4x + 2bx) = 1.5 × (8x + bx)

→ 4x + 2bx = 12x + 1.5bx
→ 2bx - 1.5bx = 12x - 4x = 8x
→ 0.5bx = 8x → b = 16

So original: 4 black, 16 brown → 1:4

Answer: (3) 1 : 4

13. Advance payment for ₹10,028 a er 3 months

Use:
Future Value = Present Value × (1 + rt)

Let P = present value

r = 12% = 0.12, t = 9 months = 0.75 years
10028 = P × (1 + 0.12 × 0.75) = P × 1.09
P = 10028 / 1.09 = ₹9200
Answer: (1) 9,200

14. SI increase due to 1% extra rate

Extra interest = ₹5,100

Time = 3 years
SI = (P × R × T) / 100

So 5100 = (P × 1 × 3) / 100
P = 5100 × 100 / 3 = ₹1,70,000
Answer: (2) 1,70,000

15. Train speed = 94 km/h, me = 4 hours → Distance = 94 × 4 = 376 km

This is 1/17 of total → So total = 376 × 17 = 6392 km

Remaining = 6392 - 376 = 6016 km
Answer: (2) 6016 km
