ABSTRACT
II

It is a freelancing platform that does not charge users or companies for providing
freelancing. Users can also be able to learn the various topic and then do
freelancing on them. It will provide a smooth experience to its user. The main
problem to be solved is Many freelancing charges from both companies and users
vary from 10%-50%. Which causes a big part of freelancer income to be deducted
from its charges. It will help students for getting experience and internships

CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION

1.1 Introduction to concept/Idea :

The concept of Universal Identification or Universal Identity in India refers to a

system where a unique and universally recognized identifier is assigned to every
individual, facilitating easy access to various government services and programs.
In India, this idea has been largely implemented through the Aadhaar system, a
biometric-based identification system that assigns a 12-digit unique ID number
to every resident.

1.2 Scope and purpose :

Scope:
If the goal of project is to design a universal identity system where everything
from Aadhaar, PAN card, driver's license, and other government-issued IDs can
be consolidated into a single card, this becomes an even more complex and
ambitious engineering design project

Purpose:
The purpose of Universal Identification or Universal Identity in India is to create
a system where every individual is assigned a unique and universally recognized
identifier, which simplifies access to various government services and programs.
This concept has been largely implemented through the Aadhaar system, a
biometric-based identification system that assigns a 12-digit unique ID number
to each resident. The aim is to ensure streamlined service delivery, reduce fraud,
and improve the efficiency of welfare and other government initiatives.

Story boarding:
Happy:

Ravi, a frequent business traveler, often finds airport security checks

timeconsuming due to the need to present multiple identity documents, such as

SSASIT 7
TEAM ID: 774635 UNI-CARD

his Aadhaar card, PAN card, and boarding pass. Each time, he must go through
manual verification, leading to unnecessary delays. However, with the
introduction of UniCard, his experience changes completely. Now, he simply taps
his UniCard at the airport security gate, where his identity and travel details are
instantly verified through a government database. He no longer needs to carry
multiple documents, as all his essential identification information is securely
stored in a single card. The entire process is fast, seamless, and hassle-free,
allowing him to board his flights without delays. The UniCard not only improves
efficiency for travelers but also enhances security, making airport procedures
smoother for everyone.

Happy:

Meera, a 65-year-old woman, suddenly falls ill and needs immediate

medical attention. Her son rushes her to the hospital, but in the panic, he struggles
to find her Aadhaar card, medical records, and insurance details, delaying her
admission. With the UniCard system, such situations are easily avoided. The
hospital receptionist scans Meera’s UniCard, instantly retrieving all her essential
details, including her Aadhaar number, medical history, and insurance coverage.
Within seconds, she is admitted, and the doctors access her past medical records,
allowing them to make better treatment decisions without delay. The UniCard
saves crucial time, ensuring patients receive fast and efficient medical care*,
ultimately improving healthcare services for all.

Sad:

Raj, a businessman, embraced the UniCard system, which consolidated his

Aadhaar, PAN, and bank details into one secure smart card. Everything was
seamless—until one day, he noticed an unauthorized bank withdrawal. Shocked,
he contacted his bank and discovered that hackers had cloned his UniCard using
an NFC exploit, gaining access to his financial and personal data.
When Raj tried to block the card, all his linked services—banking, driver’s
license, and medical records—became inaccessible. With no backup, he struggled
for weeks to restore his identity. The breach exposed a critical flaw in the UniCard
system: while it offered convenience, it also created a single point of failur. The

SSASIT 8

government faced backlash, prompting an urgent security overhaul. Stronger

encryption, AI-driven fraud detection, and multi-factor authentication were
introduced to prevent such attacks. This incident highlighted the risks of
centralized identity

Sad :

Rahul, a cybercriminal, finds a lost UniCard on the street and attempts to

misuse it for financial transactions. Since the UniCard integrates Aadhaar, PAN,
and bank account details, he tries to withdraw money from the victim’s account.
Unfortunately, in this case, the bank’s security system is weak and does not
require biometric verification or OTP authentication. Rahul successfully accesses
the account, leading to identity theft and financial loss for the cardholder. This
incident raises concerns about the security risks of storing multiple identities in a
single card. To prevent such fraud, it becomes clear that UniCard must
incorporate strict security measures, including biometric authentication, AI-based
fraud detection, and an instant deactivation system in case of theft. This incident
highlights the importance of strong cybersecurity in digital identity management.

CONCLUSION

The concept of Universal Identification through systems like Aadhaar inIndia

stands as a powerful example of how advanced engineering can be leveraged
to solve large-scale societal challenges. With its foundation in biometric
recognition, data security, cloud computing, and scalable infrastructure, such
a system is deeply rooted in technical disciplines like Computer Science,
Electronics, and Information Technology. Therefore, when approached from
a design, development, or implementation perspective, it is unquestionably a
technical subject suitable for an engineering project. This kind of project not
only demonstrates core engineering skills but also highlights the real-world
