My tip for you is to read the whole pattern one time

before you start to crochet. Don’t forget to stuff the head
and body chubby, stuff and shape the form at the same

Abbreviations
Mr - magic ring or make ch 2 and sc into the first ch.
Sc - single crochet
Inc - increase
Dec - decrease (invisible dec)
(…)*n - repeat stitches in brackets n times
Slst - slip stitch
Ch - chain
Hdc - half double crochet
DC - double crochet
Trc - treble crochet
BLO - back loop only
FLO - front loop only
BB - bobble stitch
Color - change the color,
for example black 2sc, white 3sc.
Crochet 2sc in black and 3sc in white.

Materials
Crochet hook - 4mm
Yarn - Himalaya Dolphin Baby
(you will need less than 1 skein for each color)

Stitch marker, scissors, glue, fiberfill, safety eyes or felt,
tapestry needle

Head - light brown

Fasten off, cut the yarn, and stuff the head a lot with fiber
fill. Place the safety eyes 12mm (or 14mm) between r.10-
11, 6 stitches apart.
Here is how I sew the mouth, I use glue to make the curve,
same method how I make this little smile (link). For the
nose I cut a piece of felt in a triangle shape and glue it
above the curved mouth :3 The mouth and nose should
be between r.11-12, in the middle of 2 eyes.

Luffy’s shirt - red

1. Make ch 37, second ch from hook crochet, 4sc, ch 6,

skip 6 loops, 16sc, ch 6, skip 6 loops. 4sc, ch 1, and turn.
2-3. 36sc, ch 1, and turn.
4. 36sc
Sc around the edge so we get a smoother edge of the
shirt. Cut and hide the rest of yarn.

Luffy’s straw hat - yellow

Cut the yarn and hide the rest of the yarn inside the hat.
Or leave a long tail of yarn and sew on the hat, 1-2 rows
above the eyes.
I crocheted the hat with both methods (spiral and join
round), and I don’t see much difference in the outcome,
but it’s more clean on the edge of the hat with the join
round method, maybe it’s something you want to try? If
not, crochet in spiral/continuous rounds as always ^o^

Zoro’s coat - dark green

1. Make ch 39, second ch from hook crochet, 5sc, ch 6,

skip 6 loops, 16sc, ch 6, skip 6 loops. 5sc, ch 1, and turn.
2-5. 38sc, ch 1, and turn.
6. 38sc
Sc around the edge so we get a smoother edge of the
shirt. Cut and hide the rest of the yarn.

To make the sleeves, we will crochet around where we

made chains 6 and skip 6 loops on r.1.
Insert your hook on a chain and single crochet around to
create the sleeve.
Crochet 14sc, repeat for 4 rounds.
Cut and hide the rest of yarn.

To make the blue straps

Use blue yarn, and crochet beside the rem of the hat.
Make ch 7, and second ch from hook crochet 6sc.
Cut and hide the rest of the yarn inside the hat.

Circle X badge - pink

Nami’s weapon

Use a wood skewer (or straws). Put some glue on the

skewer and roll the blue yarn around the skewer. It looks
somehow like Nami’s weapon now :D I think this is the
easiest way to make her weapon!

For Zoro’s swords, it’s not easy to find tiny swords like that
but try searching for Lego swords, i think you will find some
suitable sizes of swords for Zoro :’P

Cotton candy - pink

Stuff the piece fully. Cut and weave in the rest of the yarn.

Cut a short piece of wood skewer and glue it in the

cotton candy :’P If you have fur pink yarn, it will look more
like cotton candy texture ^o^

Sunny - yellow

Cut and weave in the rest of the yarn.
Put plastic eyes 10mm on r.2, 3-4 stitches apart.
Insert your hook into the front loops of r.4 where we only
crocheted in back loops.

Use orange yarn, crochet hdc, hdc, (ch 2, second ch from

hook sc), hdc into the first stitch, slst into the second stitch.
Repeat 7 times, and sc on the last 2 stitches.

Make the snout, using cream yarn and crochet 8sc, leave
a long tail of yarn and sew in the middle of two eyes.
Use a little plastic nose, or cut a little triangle piece of felt
and glue on the snout ^o^
Put a little pink make-up powder on his cheeks.

sew on the backpack (don’t forget to test on chopper
before sewing, maybe you need less or more than 20
chains)
