Eh~, what was it like to play Jam? I have to say I loved Jam! Shes a feisty Kung-fu girl, and I was excited everytime I played this character. I was really happy when I found out that many of those enthusiastic radio listen ers turned out to be passionate Jam players, and I got a whole bunch of fan lett ers from them This one time, I happened to see some gamers playing Guilty Gear in the arcade, and one of them was a Jam player. He was so good that I almost yelled Keep it up! in Jams voice. I got to meet a lot of great people as well, and enjoyed meeting all of them ver y much. Hmm, the next is Difficulties in playing Jam Well, if youre talking about the Chinese accent, it just kind of comes naturally. Im possessed by Jam while I play her, you know. I guess I did have a hard time with all the difficult Chinese characters that sp ell out her attacks. Hehe, you see, I dont think Id be ever able to read Choukyaku Hououjshou if I didnt g et to play Jam. So, I always looked forward to reading those scripts. Eh~ lets move on to the next question. Huh? What is this piece of paper? What? We need you to record some bonus voice content, please. And it needs to be improv ised? What a drag Guess I have no choice. Ill do it however I want to do it, thoug h. *Clear his throat* Eh~, Hello everyone. Im Jouji Nakata, 18 years old, the person inside Sol Badguy. Oops, who am I kidding here~?. Hm~, there mightve been someone who said exactly the same thing before, but anyway Ah, since Guilty Gear 2 has been released befor e this Guilty Gear Accent Core, for those who played that game first, that was t he first appearance of Sol Badguy that I played Ah~ that was such a confusing way to put it Ah, let me put it this way. GG2 was my first Sol Badguy. How did you like it? Hope you enjoyed it. Alright, I wanna start answering questions now. First question is What was it like to play Sol? What was it like, huh Well, Sol is the main character. Its such a great role, you know. Hes all in red with the hair looking like that. And, he also got these wash board abs, and bulging muscles. It was the best, I gotta say. Playing that role was a really interesting experience, and a lot of fun, too. Alright, lets move on to the next question. Any comments for the Sol fans all over the world? Hm~ thats a tough one. You know, Sol is in the head of everyone, including Direct or Ishiwatari, all the time. There are all the kinds of Sols, and each one of us has our own version of Sol. It was so hard to play a character like that, but I did my version of Sol based on my understanding and impression when I looked at drawings of him, so if you enjoy my version of Sol, I couldnt be happier. For al l the fans of Guilty Gear series, I hope you enjoy the new world, the world of G uilty Gear. Did we have another question? Hm? Ah, my favorite food is ts? If you dont know Then But if you do know any, en or not, and yet this o. ramen, so do you happen to know any good ramen restauran please just disregard this question LOL. please tell me. Ahhhh I dont even know if Jouji likes ram is the question for him Im sorry. I hope he likes ramen to

Oh, ok Ramen Lets see. You know, since I lived in foreign countries for a long time, so I prefer pasta (with foreign accent). Ah, that was such an obvious lie LOL. Of course I love ra men!! I often exchange information on ramen restaurants with Mr. Hiyama, and act ually visit those restaurants. Ive been to ramen restaurants from Hokkaido in the north to Kyushu and Okinawa in the south, but I think its always best to enjoy r amens that are specialty of the area youre in. When I was in Sapporo, my friends and I were like Ooooh, its freezing! Are there a ny good ramen places around here? I cant forget the taste of the ramen in the res taurant we finally found there. You should enjoy Sapporo miso ramen in Hokkaido because its the specialty of Hokkaido. It cant taste any better. And you know those ramen stalls in Kyushu? Its so good to have ramen at one of th ose stalls in Nakasu. I wonder why is it so good to eat at those stalls Hygienica lly speaking, theyre sometimes questionable, but the taste of their ramen is the best, without a doubt. One of the reasons for that is because you eat it in Naka su. Because you eat with bunch of your friends! Its as simple as that. Huh? That didnt answer the question? Oops. Since I used to live on those instant noodles, I think my ultimate ramen is my home-made salt ramen! You wouldnt believ e how good it is. I sometimes add some vegetables, but most of the time, I just add an egg. Its nice and simple, but it tastes great. Sometimes, I sprinkle some

roasted sesame seeds on top. Kikuko-san, Ill satisfy your taste buds to a climax with my ultimate salt ramen. <3 Thats it from me. This is Joji Nakata. Ill see you all in thenext title, I guess? I hope to see you all there! Until then, good bye~. Ooooops, my baaaaad. I totally forgot about this relay thing. Who should I relay it to? Hm, alright. I guess the next person is that blue frog who tends to be forgotten. Eh~ here is my question to you, Kusao-san. I often go practice golfing with Kusao-san and we were talking about going on a golf course, but since its winter now, I once asked him if he wanted to go play p ool sometime. Ive always wondered which games he liked though. Theres nine ball, a nd what was it, four ball? Oh, four ball is baseball LOL. Anyways, the one with four balls. If theres a particular game you like, Id love to be your match, so ple ase tell me what your favorite game is. And finally Cut the crap and just play with me already! Ill hear you out after that. Alright~ for all the Sol fans out there, try your best not to let anybody beat y ou! Once again, this was Joji Nakata, the person inside Sol Badguy. Ill see you all i n the next title! ==Takeshi Kusao== Oh, whats this piece of paper? We need you to record some bonus voice content, please. And I need to improvise?! I guess I have no choice. *Clear his throat* Eh~, hello every Guilty Gear fan in the world. This is Takeshi Kusao, the person inside Ky Kiske. Eh~, Im gonna start answering these questions now. First question is What was it like to play Ky? Lets see Well, I guess I never thought that Id be doing Ky for this long, at first Hes gallant and heroic, sticks to his principles, and has a strong sense of justi ce. But hes got his problems just like regular people, regardless of his heroic e xterior, and he keeps improving himself as a human being. I tried my best to kee p as much of his integrity intact as possible when I play him. Well, many of the Guilty Gear fans love to play games in general, right? Ive received lots of letters that said my version of Ky Kiske was great from the happy fans. And, I think Ky Kiske is developing little by little just like this Guilty Gear series is, so you cant miss how hell turn out to be in later titles. I t looks like Ill be seeing you as Ky for many more years to come, so Im counting o n your continuous support! Eh~ and, Any comments for the Ky fans all over the world?. Like I said earlier, Id like to play Ky Kiske as long as the world of Guilty Gear series continues. Not only that, but someday Im hoping youll see things like CD dramas, animated movies, that kind of thing. Theyd be great opportunities for us voice actors and actress es. Were gonna need even more of your enthusiastic support to make it happen, tho ugh. I know that each one of you have your own favorite character, but give Ky a shot when you play the game next time. Just one shot will do. Boy, do I sound d esperate Anyway, I appreciate your support. Eh~ the next is Relay-style questionnaire section? LOL Please answer the question f rom Jouji Nakata. So, this is from Jouji, huh?

I often go practice golfing with Kusao-san and we were talking about going on a golf course, but since its winter now, I once asked him if he wanted to go play p ool sometime. Ive always wondered which games he liked though. Theres nine ball, a nd what was it, four ball? Oh, four ball is baseball LOL. Anyways, the one with four balls. If theres a particular game you like, Id love to be your match, so ple ase tell me what your favorite game is. Oh, I remember! I know what hes talking about. During a break while we were worki ng on an anime, Joji asked me if I played pool all of a sudden, and I wondered w hat it was about. So, I guess this is what he was talking about. Eh~ when it comes to pool, I set up a barricade LOL. Well, that didnt quite make sense there, did it? Well, lots of people enjoy playing pool, and there was a ti me when pool bars were popular. Oh, but I guess not so many listeners would know , would they? It was such a long time ago. Anyway, back then I used to play pool once in a while. Im not a great pool payer and I only know nine ball. Although Im not much of a pool player, if I get invited to play pool, Id be more than happy to. I have a few all we play. pool tables l, but darts friends to play pool with these days, although nine ball is really Dart bars are quite popular lately, and they usually have darts and together at those bars, so Id love to challenge Joji not only at poo as well. So get ready for it, Joji LOL.

And, now its time for the Relay-style questionnaire question section. Ah~ this is w here I have to ask a question to someone, huh? Well Ah, so I guess Ill have to ask a question to Norio Wakamoto, the person inside Johnny What am I supposed to ask my great mentor?! Seriously, what am Ioops, Ive sorta started acting like my char acter, havent I? Are we still good? Eh~ here is one though. Ah, I wonder how long has Mr. Wakamoto been a voice acto r. Hes been looking after me since I started out as a voice actor twenty years ag o. Hes been such a great mentor to me, so its presumptuous of me to even ask him a question, but I guess Ill dare to do it. Ive always wondered why he hasnt changed much in twenty years. Im taking about his health and his stance as a voice actor. And especially his physical strength? He hasnt changed since I first met him. So , Id love to know what kind of training he does on a daily basis for his mental a nd physical strength. Id appreciate it if you can let me in on your secret, Mr. W akamoto. And finally, the thunder that resides in my sword! Serve him justice! Ah~ for all the Ky players in the world, practice well to beat other characters. Unleash as many Stun Edges as possible. Alright I guess thats it from me, Takesh i Kusao, the person inside Ky Kiske. Im looking forward to seeing you all again i n more Guilty Gear titles from now til forever! ==Norio Wakamoto== We need you to record some bonus voice content, please. I need to improvise too, h uh? Hmm Fine. I dont dislike this kind of surprise. *Clear his throat* Hello, everyone . This is Norio Wakamoto, the person inside Johnny. I vividly remember playing a role for Guilty Gear, even though Ive done a lot of voice work and it usually dont ring any bells if I only hear the names of the tit les. Theres this one time when I was invited to an annual festival at Doushisha U niversity, and had a little speech in front of 200 or 300 people, and there was this QA section where the students got to ask me questions. This guy asked me fo

r inside stories from when I was playing Johnny in Guilty Gear. Theres no such a thing as an inside story for voice work in games because all you do there is jus t sit there and read scripts. I apologized to the guy, but I guess that, from th en on, I remembered I did a role for Guilty Gear. Alright, I wanna start answering these questions now. Hm The first question is What was it like to play Johnny? Eh~ I gotta say Johnny is truly a man among men. Hes not shortsighted. Hes able to quickly adapt himself to any women, children, men, and even monsters like chameleons, so it was such an interesting role for me. I wonder if the game will ever become a movie, or maybe an anime? Hehehehe. I hope thatll happen someday. I guess thats about it for this question. The next question is Any comments for the Johnny fans all over the world? Well Lets see I guess Johnny probably isnt a kind of man that exists in Japan. Hmunfo rtunately. I wish I could be a man like him, but I dont think I ever can. So, his point of view, and his human qualities that we Japanese men dont have, I hope yo u can enjoy that part of him. The next is Relay-style questionnaire answer section? Please answer the question from Takeshi Kusao. Alright, here is the question from Takeshi! Ive always wondered why he hasnt changed much in twenty years. Im taking about his health and his stance as a voice actor. And especially his physical strength? He hasnt changed since I first met him. So, Id love to know what kind of training he does on a daily basis for his mental and physical strength. Id appreciate it if you can let me in on your secret, Mr. Wakamoto. I see. What kind of physical and mental training, huh? Lets see Well I guess its good to do one certain thing everyday for at least 30 min utes. I see lots of books in bookstores nowadays that talk about how important i t is to do something on a daily basis for even 30 minutes a day. I dont think its such a good idea to do something for you mental and physical health today but no t tomorrow. So find some spare time for thirty minutes or an hour everyday. I us ually have about three hours of spare time: I wake up at five in the morning to do my Yoga, Nishino breathing, and Hida-style culturing of mind and body. I also take time to swing a wooden sword around. And I do several other breathing exer cises, but like these examples, training for your mind and body would require yo u to study yourself by looking at your usual self, and capturing your real self. Its always a bad idea to pretend to be someone youre not. Eh, especially for thos e who act for a living They have to be willing to show their real selves, like sh owing their clumsy or dirty side to strangers LOL. If you reach a point where yo ure no longer afraid of showing yourself, itll definitely expand the variety of yo ur performance. I guess thats all I have to say about that. Eh~ the next is Relay-style questionnaire question section. So, this is when I get to ask someone a question, huh? Alright then, here is my question to you, Iemasa Kayumia veteran in the world of voice acting, and the per son inside Slayer. Eh~ when I first started out as a voice actor, Mr. Kayumi was already a star, pl aying main characters for many genres. My first impression of him was that when he reads Japanese, or rather, when he reads Japanese lines, he does so perfectly , without making any mistakes, as if hes a precision machine. Ive never seen or he ard him stutter or mess up. But I make tons of mistakes, unlike him, so if you ca n let me in on your secret of how to become a precision machine like you, thatd b e fantastic. Finally. To all the fans out there, please continue supporting the Jelly Fish Pi

rates. Im open to marvelous fan letters as well~. For all the Johnny players in t he world, practice well so you dont get beaten. Thats all from me, the person insi de Johnny, Norio Wakamoto. Ill see you all soon in the next title! ==Iemasa Kayumi== Sharon, what is this piece of paper? We need you to record some bonus voice content, please. And, I need to improvise? W hat? I cant believe they dragged me into this Alright. I guess this kind of entert ainment isnt bad at all if its only once in a while. *Clear his throat* Hello everyone. Im Iemasa Kayumi, the person inside Slayer. Alright, Im gonna star t answering some questions now. Eh~ heres the first question. What was it like to play Slayer? Hahahaha. Ah~ when I first saw the sketch of the character, he was dressed in indescribable clothes and I learned from his character profile that hes a weird middle-aged man who enj oys Haikus and tea ceremony, and yet hes also a vampire? Really? But, what? He do esnt kill people? Hes a righteous man. I was like, Are you kidding me? He had these inconsistent qualities, and it was pretty tough for me to pull off such a charac ter. Eh~ anyway, wouldnt you assume vampires are bad guys? Theyd harass and tortur e people, wouldnt they? But he helps the weak. It didnt quite make sense to me at first, and this contradiction always gave me a hard time. Lets move onto the next question. Any comments for the Slayer fans all over the wo rld?Haha, eh~ a while ago I was assigned to this series called Slayers story tellin g, and received a lot of letters from fans. This series is where one weird middle-aged man lives in a dark cave and lots of people visit him for interesting folk tales . The setting was so fairy-tale-like, and it was interesting to find out there a re many people who enjoy this kind of thing. It felt as if I was one of the char acters from Aesops Fables. It was quite an interesting experience for me. Eh~, the next is Relay-style questionnaire answer section. Ah~ its a question from Norio Wakamoto who plays Johnny. Ah~ its from him? I had plenty of drinks with hi m, and weve been on lots of projects together. He goes by his own philosophy, pri nciples, and aesthetics when he does his work. I wonder what he asked me Eh~ when I first started out as a voice actor, Mr. Ah~, precision machine sounds a little impersonal, and its not like I do somethin g in particular. Well, I guess I could attribute it to the fact that most of my work was live when I first started out. Eh~ I was mainly doing voice-overs for f oreign movies and theyre all broadcast live, so if you make a lot of mistakes, yo u wont get hired next time LOL. It was a simple time, when actors and actresses w ho dont make many mistakes got most of the jobs instead of those who were great a t acting or have a great character. Thats it. So, I guess thats the difference bet ween my time and your time, Norio. You should go ahead and continue pursuing you r aesthetics and bold style. Of course, therell be errors as a trade-off. If Id do ne that, I wouldnt have had gotten jobs. Its as simple as that. Well, now its time for the Relay-style questionnaire question section. Oh, I see. I get to ask a question now. Eh~ well then, this has been on my mind for years, s

o Id like to officially ask the creator of this Guilty Gear series, Ishiwatari di rector. Eh~ Ive been wondering how he developed the images and backgrounds for ea ch character. Of course, the story development itself is interesting as well, li ke one of those well-made plays, with out-of-the-ordinary, and yet somewhat mela ncholy, backgrounds, and the setting with a little twist of each character has b een stuck in my mind. Eh~ so thats what Id like you to officially explain once and for all. Finally, heres another one of my poorly-made Haikus that Id like to share with you all. *Clear his throat* Id like to break out of my seclusion so I can be in the next one. And to all the Slayer players in the world, practice well, and show off your dan dy side! This has been Iemasa Kayumi, the one inside Slayer. Ill see you all in a next tit le. ==Daisuke Ishiwatari== Eh~, hello everyone. This is Arc System Works king of serving tea, also the person inside Sol, Daisuke Ishiwatari. Thank you all for listening. Eh~, first of all, thank you for clearing the game up to this point. It mustve been a long way here. Ah~ Im not quite sure what Im supposed to talk here though. The script just says free-style talk, but really? Even a script for radio program has a topic written on it. I guess all I have to do here is to casually talk hehe. Well, heres a question Reflect on the past 10 years. Since Im not capable of free-style talk, I guess Im gonna start off by talking abo ut it then. Eh~, Now that the Guilty Gear series has been out there for 10 years, how does it feel? is what this question is about, I think. Well, when I first started develo ping this game, I just naturally assumed that itd last forever, but I never reall y thought about what Id do after 10 years, or what the game industry would be lik e after 10 years, either. So, I gotta say realizing that its been 10 years since Guilty Gear was born is a pretty amazing feeling. I guess miracles do exist. Hah aha. I never expected itd last this long, so thats honestly how I feel about it. T he basic system of fighting games stays mostly the same, with a few additional s ystems added each time, and it sort of settled down to be the style we have toda y. Well, I never thought one game system would last for 10 years, but after ten years, Im starting to feel like its definitely possible. I guess thats about it. Eh , I know lots of fans out there are waiting for a next title, but its already out LOL. The next question is Any comments for the Guilty Gear fans all over the world? Rea lly? Isnt it too early for this question? Hahahaha. This has to be pushed back to the end for sure. Im gonna go ahead and move onto this questionnaire section, is there any problem, director? None, right? Hahahaha. Well, I guess Ill just go back to that comments to the fans then. Ah~, the first Guilty Gear was released like 10 years ago, and Im sure therere lots of players who didnt play that original game, but did everyone enjoy the game? Eh~ this game was developed through blending the world view (lo re) of anime and fighting games together. If you felt our passion for that throu gh this game, we couldnt be happier. Heheheh, is there anything else that I havent covered? Comments to the Guilty Gear fans? All I can say is thank you for purch

asing the game. Really thats all I can say. Oh and, I guess I could say, please b uy Guilty Gear 2, another game that I made. Hahaha. Was I able to wrap it up nic ely? Can I move onto the questions now? How did it feel to give up Sol? Ah, I guess its about the voice acting, huh? I used to do Sols voice-over for in-game voices, but since we started adding scenario m ode, we figured that we needed a professional voice actor to do it, so thats when we decided to pass it on to someone else. How did it feel? It was about a year after we started when we first used a different voice actor, for Guilty Gear X. Well, honestly, I was kind of sad to give up something that I had fun doing, but on the other hand, I felt relieved that this character was finally in the hands of someone experienced, who can pull off long lines. Because of this change, we certainly expect a future story to dramatically develop around Sol, making the best of his speech, which could lead to further expanding the world of Guilty Ge ar. Well, I started this voice acting thing just for the fun of it after all, bu t I was just telling the staff that if I could continue something like this in s ome form somewhere, itd be awesome. But next time will be nothing high-profile li ke the main character, though. Ah, so can I move on now, Mr. Yamanaka the engine er? Hahahaha. Attachment to Sol. Whats up with this question arrangement? Its two similar questions in a row. Hahahaha. For those who are getting bored wit h my long talk, please go ahead and turn off your Play Station 2. Hehehehe. As t o attachment to Sol, like I said before, I gotta admit that I have some of that, as a person who used to do the voice-over for the character. Theres always a cer tain position set up for the main character in the game and since this is a figh ting game, several characters have their own point of view as main characters. B ut basically, Sol is intended to be the main character for players in Guilty Gea r, so all the things Sol experiences are the things that I would like to happen. So, if youre anxious to know what Sols up to, please check out our future titles. You will be able to see the theme that we have in mind gradually reveal itself. Alright now, moving on to question 3. Oh, this is a question from Mr. Kayumi tha t had the interview before me, the man who plays Slayer. Lets hear it. Eh~ Ive been wondering how he developed the images and backgrounds for each chara cter. Of course, the story development itself is interesting as well, like one o f those well-made plays, with out-of-the-ordinary, and yet somewhat melancholy, backgrounds, and the setting with a little twist of each character has been stuc k in my mind. Eh~ so thats what Id like you to officially explain once and for all . Oh, I see. Eh~ as to designs for the characters of Guilty Gearoh, this applies to all the characters by the wayI assign my life philosophy in fragments to each ch aracter to create their personalities. Eh~ Daisuke who is all for something, and Daisuke who is against something are both myself, and those two kinds of me coe xists in myself. So, like I said, Id go Lets assign a part of me whos all for a cert ain thing to this character, and a part me whos against the same certain thing sh ould be applied to that character. Thats how I design each character. And from eac h character going through the game, therere times when I get answers for my own c oncerns or questions in life, and I get to receive feedback on those answers fro m other people, which I personally think is great, so thats how I create characte rs. And as to the settings of characters, its like Mr. Kayumi said earlier, I wan ted to add a little spice to them in order to attract the users attention to the characters. We always try to come up with something out of the ordinary, but bas ically the core personality of each character comes from a fragment of my person ality. Eh~ I guess thats about it. Moving on to question 4. Sorry if Im being too mechanical. Eh~, the future of GG. Well, I guess those whore listening to this message have cleared the story mode,

so you guys must be more interested in the story now. Eh~ GG has changed its fo rm, and been evolving in many aspects, so if youre interested in knowing how the story of Guilty Gear expands, please check out Guilty Gear 2 as well. I hope were able to convey the lore and the visuals of the Guilty Gear world even further t hrough the game contents and the scenario in Guilty Gear 2. And the next question. What Id like to do now the most. Good question. Id love to go to a hot spring. Yes, I would. Please, someone take me to one. Also, the staf f is currently planning on having a little bicycle excursion from Shinyokohama t o Atami. If youd like to participate, please send us an E-mail at the address on our website. Finally, a closing message. Hm, a closing message, huh? In Sols voice? Youve gotta be kidding me. Hahahaha. Im not a professional voice actor, so Im not best suited for that, but I wonder what kind of voice Sol would have in real life? Uh Ah~ U h Ah~. Eh, this recording is taking place at Arc System Works office and me sayin g Uh Ah~ here is quite distracting for the staff, who are working hard, so Id lik e to avoid saying that as much as possible. Now that I think about it, this is p robably like the last time that I ever get to speak as Sol. Well, in that case, maybe I should Is there any good short line that I can do right off the bat? Damn , its hard~. What? That Are you ready? line? Then, Ill just take the line right out of that poster. Alright here I go. Eh~, were going to continue pursuing the Guilt y Gear series even harder, so wed like your continuing support. And finally Are you ready? Eh~ this was Daisuke Ishiwatari, the person inside original Sol. Eh~ Im lo oking forward to seeing you all soon!
