Although I had never registred any meaningful success with girls at school, my friends always referred to me as a
handsome boy and probably this is why this girl was interested in me.
Our eyes met again and we both looked away, my whole bdy felt like jelly, I had to do something.
She could be thinking deeply about me I thoght. “How was I supposed to approch her?” I imagined.
Two hours later, the service ended, this was the time I had been waiting for all along. I would go and face her
boldly. But what would grandpa’s reaction be when he ever comes to know about this, since he had always
cautioned me about relatioships with girls.

v. Enter the text Keepfit Badminton Association as the header of the document.
vi. Enter your name and index number as footer.
vii. Set the page margins to 1.2” top, 1.2” bottom, 1.4” left and 1.4” right.
viii. Copy your work to the second page while preserving the formatting.
ix. Insert a 6 point page boarder only in the second page.
x. Create a folder and Save your work As your Name and index number in it.

Using a word processor, write an application letter to any organisation for a position of your choice.
a) The application letter must have the following;

Paragraph 1: Introduction about yourself.

i. Type the letter below and save it as Permit Letter-Your name.
ii. Change the font type to Bell MT and font size 13.
iii. Include a footer of your name and index Number on the letter

Your task is to create a classroom display for students in your school about your life.
1. Think about:
three subjects you do at school, such as science or sport
three tasks you do at home, such as helping make a meal
three activities you like to do with your friends.
1 Open a new document in your word processing software.
a) Use your full name for the title. This must be Font Size 16 points, Bold and Centred.
b) Type nine sentences, one about each subject, task and activity. Use three paragraphs, one for each area.
c) Underline the sentences about school subjects.
d) Make Bold the sentences about tasks at home.
e) Make Italic the sentences about your activities.
f) Pick three of your favourite things from the nine sentences. For example swimming or using computers.
Make the font larger for just those words.
g) Save this file and call it by your name.
2 Choose three graphic images for each favourite thing.
i. Insert the graphic images anywhere into the word processing file.
ii. Reposition the graphic images by the relevant words in the text, so that they
nearly touch
but do not cover any of the words.
3 Make a table like the one below underneath your nine sentences.
Copy and place each sentence into a cell. Put copies of the images by these sentences.
Resize the column width or row height if needed for neatness.
Print when complete.

can use about this topic.
Use Italic and Bold numbering and text for these words. The title word itself must be normal.

5 Carry out the following formatting on your document.
a) Change the page orientation to landscape.
b) Put your teacher’s name into a header and the date into a footer.

7 Annotate your printout by showing where you made changes. Explain how your changes help to have an impact
on the audience.
