Problem 1:
An online retailer is facing a high rate of cart abandonment and inconsistent delivery
times. They want to understand user behavior and optimize logistics.
Tasks to Perform:
• Analyze cart abandonment trends using descriptive analytics
• Use clustering to segment customers
• Build a predictive model for delivery time delays
• Propose prescriptive solutions to reduce abandonment

Problem 2:
A hospital wants to reduce patient wait times and optimize doctor scheduling using
historical data.
Tasks to Perform:
• Define the business problem clearly
• Identify and prepare hospital visit datasets
• Generate hypotheses (e.g., peak time wait increases)
• Build a model to predict wait times
• Suggest solutions based on insights
Problem 3:
A bank is experiencing an increase in fraudulent credit card transactions and wants
to build a proactive solution.
Tasks to Perform:
• Use descriptive analytics to show fraud trends
• Use diagnostic analytics to identify root causes
