State of The School Address
State of The School Address
It’s truly an honor to present the state of our school and to share our collective vision for the
future. This is an exciting time for our school, and while we have accomplished a great deal, we
know that our journey is far from over. Today, I want to take a moment to celebrate our
successes, acknowledge the challenges we’ve faced, and share some of the goals we’re setting
for the upcoming year.
From the classrooms to the playing fields, from academic excellence to community service, we
continue to strive for greatness. Each of us plays a part in the success of this school, and today,
we take a moment to celebrate the accomplishments of those who’ve shown dedication,
creativity, and hard work.
Join us as we share the incredible achievements of our students, faculty, and staff. Together, we
are shaping the future, one step at a time.
This year has been nothing short of remarkable for our school. We’ve witnessed incredible
growth in all areas of student life, from academics to extracurriculars.
Our students have shown the world just how diverse and talented they are! The recent Festival of
Talents was an extraordinary showcase of creativity, skill, and passion. From dance and music
to art and drama, our students not only participated but excelled. Their performance earned them
top honors, and the pride we felt as a school community.
Our participants in sports have raised the bar this year. Our athletes have broken school records.
We’ve proven that teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship are at the heart of everything we
do. We look forward to even more athletic successes next year.
Our student journalists have taken the world by storm! The School Publication both in English
and Filipino received numerous accolades for their hard-hitting stories, creative writing, and in-
depth reporting. These awards recognized our journalism team’s ability to inform and engage the
school community on important topics. Our students' dedication to journalistic integrity is an
inspiration to us all.
One of the most exciting aspects of this year has been our focus on quarterly academic
achievements. Every quarter, we’ve recognized outstanding academic performance, and it has
been truly inspiring to see so many of our students push themselves to excel. Whether it’s a
student achieving perfect grades, showing significant improvement, or excelling in a specific
subject, we’ve celebrated these accomplishments throughout the year. We believe that
recognizing academic excellence on a quarterly basis helps motivate all our students to strive for
greatness.
This year, we are especially proud to recognize our students who have earned their NC II
(National Certificate II). This certification is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and
commitment to developing skills that will serve them well in the workforce. Through the efforts
of their trainers—Sir Mark G. Sison and Ma’am Fatima S. Dimatulac, 94 of our Grade 12
students have successfully passed the NC II examinations, which demonstrates their competence
in specific vocational fields. These students have shown the perseverance and determination
required to meet the high standards set by the Technical Education and Skills Development
Authority (TESDA).
These successes didn’t happen by accident. They are the result of countless hours of hard work,
perseverance, and a belief in the power of collaboration. I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve
achieved together, and these wins represent the strength of our community.
One of the most important aspects of our continued success is the quality of instruction
happening within our classrooms. This year, we've placed a renewed emphasis on classroom
observation to ensure that our teachers have the support and feedback necessary to foster an
engaging and effective learning environment.
Beyond the walls of the school, our students, faculty, and staff have worked tirelessly to make a
positive impact in our local community. We believe in the importance of giving back, and we’ve
seen firsthand how our outreach programs can change lives. Here are some highlights:
This year, our students have been involved in a range of community service initiatives. From
feeding and gift giving through various outreach programs initiated by the SSLG, ESP
Department, and the YES-O Club together with the Magalang Municipal Police, RMFB3, RMFB
Tarlac, Gardenia, Magicians and Clowns Club, our students have shown what it means to be
responsible and compassionate citizens.
Our commitment to sustainability has grown this year through student-led environmental
initiatives, such as the tree planting activities initiated by the YES-O Club. These efforts have
not only contributed to the well-being of our local environment but have also sparked discussions
on how we can all live more sustainably in our daily lives.
Looking ahead to the future, one of the most significant developments in our school has been our
expanding partnerships with industries for the work immersion program. These programs have
been designed to bridge the gap between education and the workforce, equipping our Grade 12
students with valuable skills and real-world experience. Through our work immersion
partnerships with local industries, our Grade 12 students have had the opportunity to gain
hands-on experience in their chosen fields. These immersive experiences provide students with
the chance to learn directly from industry professionals, develop practical skills, and better
understand the demands of the workplace.
As we look at where we stand today, I want to highlight a few key areas where we’re doing
exceptionally well:
We’re excited to report an increase in enrollment this year, a sign that more families are
choosing our school because of our commitment to academic excellence and student well-being.
One of the most exciting and well-deserved recognitions is the promotion of several of our
outstanding teachers. These individuals have shown tremendous dedication to their craft,
continuously striving to create a positive and enriching learning environment for our students.
Their commitment to excellence in teaching, leadership, and professional growth has made a
significant impact on our school.
Thanks to the hard work of our maintenance staff and the generosity of our community, we’ve
made significant upgrades to our campus, including the roof repair of our laboratories, classroom
and comfort room repairs, the new audio-visual room, the new ICT Room, and our new clinic.
These have all contributed to creating a better learning environment for our students.
Our counseling programs have expanded this year, and we’ve introduced new initiatives to help
students with academic and emotional support. The Project KALMA which is a part of the Ukit
Marangal aims to integrate moral values and ethical principles into knowledge acquisition that
will help learners at risk develop a solid ethical foundation through work-based learning and
team building activities. This holistic approach to student well-being is an important part of our
mission. We’d like to extend our heartfelt appreciation and thanks to God’s Beloved Church for
their assistance in the implementation of our Project KALMA and their continuous support to our
school.
As we look to the future, one of the most exciting and necessary areas of focus for our school is
the development of new infrastructure to enhance the learning experience for our students. We
recognize that in order to continue providing high-quality education, we must ensure that our
physical facilities can accommodate the needs of our growing school community. The goals for
new infrastructure that we are committed to achieving in the near future are new comfort
rooms, the new covered walk and the new entrance of our school.
We are committed to creating an even more inclusive, respectful, and supportive environment for
all students and staff. In the coming months, we’ll launch several initiatives aimed at promoting
positive relationships and encouraging a growth mindset throughout our school community
through our Ukit Marangal.
I want to take a moment to thank everyone who makes Tinajero National High School-Annex the
special place it is. To our incredible teachers and staff—thank you for your unwavering
dedication to our students. You inspire them every day to reach for their dreams and never give
up. To our parents and guardians specially our School governance Council and the School
Parent-Teacher Association—thank you for being our partners in this journey. Your support at
home and in the classroom is invaluable. And, of course, to our students—thank you for your
hard work, creativity, and perseverance. You are the heart and soul of this school.
Thank you for being a part of this amazing community, and I look forward to all the wonderful
things we will accomplish together in the year ahead.
