Protastructure actually calculated for all these Values in this never version 2022 for
both directions of the column. Hence Column is designed as SLENDER
COLUMN

Conclusion
Both cases are correct as the code gives the provision to adopt certain values to avoid long
calculations, however the PROTA 2022 is more accurate as it computes each and every
parameter required to determine the slender ratio of the column without adopting code values.
Hence a column maybe classified as SHORT AND SLENDER at the same time due to EC2
code provisions




