II. RATIONALE:

As students prepare for life beyond high school, it is crucial to provide them
with relevant information and guidance to help them make informed
decisions about their future careers and educational paths. The Grade 12
Career Guidance Orientation is designed to equip students with the tools
they need for effective career planning, emphasizing self-awareness, goal
setting, and understanding current labor market trends.

The orientation highlights four key career pathways: higher education,


technical-vocational training, employment, and entrepreneurship. By
exploring these diverse options, students can identify the most suitable path
based on their interests, skills, and resources. This initiative ensures that
students are well-prepared to pursue meaningful and fulfilling careers.

III.GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:


This aims to:

a. Help students discover their strengths, interests, and career aspirations.


b. Provide information on various career pathways, including higher
education, technical-vocational training, entrepreneurship, and employment.
c. Guide students in developing personal career plans and making informed
decisions for their future.

VI. Assessment Plan: The success of the Career Guidance Orientation will
be assessed through the following:
Reflection Activities – Students will submit written reflections on their key
takeaways and how the orientation has helped shape their career plans.
Observation – Organizers will observe students’ engagement and
participation during the sessions.
