Definition of input devices ;

An input device; is a hardware component used to enter data and control


signals into a computer system.

Examples of input devices

1.mouse

A mouse is small input devices.it is used to control the computer.

2. Keyboard
It is like a special board with buttons that you press to make words and
numbers appears on the computer screen.also allows To enter letters ,
numbers,and others symbols.

3. Scanners:

Convert physical documents, images ,or objects into a digital format.

4. Microphone
This is used to input audio data,such as for voice recording or voice
commands .

5. Joysticks
Used primarily for gaming , controlling movement and actions in a game.

6. Touchscreens

Allows users to interact with the computer by touching the screen.

7. Light pens
Used to Interact with a computer screen by touching it with the pen .

8. Mice

Used to navigate and interact with the computer ‘s graphical user interface.

Definition of output devices:


A output devices; is any piece of computer hardware that converts
information or data into a human – perceptible form or , historically , into a
physical machine – readable form for used with other non – computerized
equipment .

The following are examples of output devices:

1. Monitors

These are primarily visuals display devices, showing texts , images,


and videos.
2.printers :

Printer produce hard copies of documents , images, or others digital


content .
3.speakers :

Speakers deliver Audio output , allowing users to hear sounds from


games , music ,or videos .
4. Projectors:
This project images And videos onto a screen , making them visible for
presentations or entertainment .
5. Plotters:

This are specialized printers that create detailed drawings , maps or


other technical illustrations on large sheets of paper.
6. Braille readers :

This devices convert computers output into braille making it


accessible for visually impaired individuals.

7. Headphones : provide private audio output.


8. Sound cards:

Enable the computer to produce and output audio signals.
