1. Command + a number key: This is the Google Chrome shortcut for switching tabs.
This trick works only if the open tabs are in single digits i.e. 1 to 9.
⌘ + 1: Switch to the 1st tab on the left.
⌘ + 2: Switch to the second tab.
⌘ + 3: Switch to the third tab.
⌘ + 4: Switch to the fourth tab.
⌘ + 5: Switch to the fifth tab.
⌘ + 6: Switch to the sixth tab.
⌘ + 7: Switch to the seventh tab.
⌘ + 8: Switch to the eighth tab.
⌘ + 9: Switch to the last tab on the right.
2. Command + Shift + T: Reopen a recently closed tab. Repeat this shortcut to open
multiple tabs in the order they were closed.

3. Command + Option + Right Arrow: Switch to the next tab.
4. Command + Option + Left Arrow: Go back to the previous tab.
5. Command + T: Open a new tab in Chrome.
6. Command + W: Close a tab in Chrome.
7. Command + Click a link: Open a link in a new background tab.
8. Command + Shift + Click a link: Open a link, and jump to it.
9. Control + Shift + Page Up: Move the active tab to right.
10. Control + Shift + Page Down: Move the active tab to left.
11. Drag a Link to a tab: Open a link in the current tab.

8. Command and + (plus) or – (minus): Make everything on a webpage bigger or
smaller. Alternatively, you can also hold the Command key and scroll the mouse
wheel up or down to zoom in or zoom out a webpage.
9. Command + 0 (zero): Return everything on the page to the default size.
10. Esc: Stop a web page from loading.
11. Option + Click a link: Download the target of a link.
12. Option + Left arrow: Move your cursor to the beginning of the previous word in a
text field.
13. Option + Right arrow: Move your cursor to the back of the next word in a text field.
14. Space or Page Down: Scroll down a webpage, one screen at a time.
15. Shift + Space or Page Up: Scroll up a webpage, one screen at a time.
16. Tab: Navigate through clickable items on a web page. You can use Shift + Tab to
browse clickable items moving backward.
17. Click on the site logo: Go to the home page of the website.
1. Command + Shift + B: Show the Bookmarks bar. You can repeat this key
combination to hide it again.
2. Command + Option + B: Open the Bookmarks Manager.
3. Command + D: Save your current webpage as a bookmark.
4. Command + Shift + D: Save all open tabs as bookmarks in a new folder.
5. Drag a URL to the Bookmarks Bar: Save the current webpage as a bookmark.
1. Command + L: Go to the address bar of the current tab and highlight everything
there- it’s an easier and faster way to clear the address bar and perform a new
search.
2. Command + Option + F: This is a Google search keyboard shortcut that you can
use to refine your search queries. It’s easier to use than scrolling back up to the
search bar, clicking it, and editing your search query to launch a new search.

5. Down arrow + Shift + Fn+ Delete: Remove search query predictions from the
address bar.
6. Search engine name + Tab: Perform a web search using a different search engine
than Chrome.
7. Type a search query + Option + Return: Search for something in a new Chrome
tab.
8. Type a search query + Return: Do a search with your default search engine.
9. Type a site name + Control + Return: Add www. and .com to a website name,
and open it. To open a website in a new window, use Control + Shift + Return after
typing the site name.
