HMI Software Program Instruction

Applicable HMI models: TPC1061TH, TPC1062K


Program tools: USB (recommended format FAT32), tpcbackup folder, ChgStart .exe

HMI initial programming procedure


1. Put the target HMI software, tpcbackup folder, and ChgStart program and
GD5000_MCGS7IN3_SCREEN_20604 in the root directory of the USB, and the target HMI
software needs to be decompressed.( Copy all files in folder. Decompress all file in separate
folder. See image 1)
2. Open "tpcbackup→backup" with Notepad and set the resolution: 7-inch HMI set to 800*480,
10-inch HMI set to 1024*600.- image 2
3. Eject the USB, and then insert the USB into the touch screen USB1 port to power the HMI.
4. HMI pops up "注意！！！将进行系统 NK 环境更新，是否继续", click "是".- image 3
5. HMI pops up "注意！！！为保证升级成功，需要先退出 MCGS！是否继续”, click “是”.
6. HMI pops up the progress of the "恢复向导", click "完成并重启" after the recovery is completed.
7. After rebooting, the HMI pops up "Attention!!! A system NK environment update will be carried
out, whether to continue", click "No".-
8. Go to "My Device →USB HardDisk", click the HMI software to be flashed, and click "Edit →
Copy".
9. Go to "My Device → HardDisk" and click "Edit →Paste".
10. Go to "My Device →USB HardDisk", click "ChgStart → Modify", and after displaying
"Modification of Registry Successful", click "OK".
11. Click "Program → Restart" in the lower left corner, restart the HMI, and pull out the USB flash
drive during the restart.
12. Go to "My Device→ HardDisk → copied software", click "GD5000", and click "Edit → copy".
13. Go to "My Device→ HardDisk →StartUp" and click "Edit → paste shortcut".
14. Click "Start→Restart", the login interface will pop up after restarting, the burning is successful,
and check whether the Version is correct

Insert USB to hmi :

After restart press No :

Open :
Open USB hard disk
Copy GD5000_MCGS7IN3_SCREEN_20604 folder and paste to hard disk folder of hmi

For copy press click 1 and click 2 step and press cnt+C option than go to harddisk folder and click
2 and press cnt+v
Go to usb harddisk (pen drive): Doubel click on CHgstart
Restart (For restart click start button(lower left corner) nd click last icon: ) it during restart pull out
usb :
Open harddisk/ copy GD5000
Open harddisk/ Start up click on EDIT paste short cut :
Now Restart HMI :
Change language :
Enter factory password : 40721
Restart screen
