• What is Computer ?
• Answer :- A computer is an electronic device, which is developed by Charles
Babbage is in 10th century.

Definition :- A computer keyboard is an input device used to enter characters and functions

Definition :- A mouse is used to select items on the screen and to give instructions to your computer to
perform tasks. A mouse has at least two buttons, called the left mouse button and the right mouse button.

• Central Processing Unit (CPU)

Definition :- The Central Processing Unit (CPU) is the primary component of a computer that acts as its
“control centre.” CPU is the brain of computer.
A CPU has three main parts: arithmetic logic unit (ALU), control unit (CU), and memory unit.

• Central Processing Unit (CPU) Parts definition:-

1.) Switched Mode Power Supply (SMPS) :- SMPS stands for Switched Mode Power Supply. It's a power supply
unit (PSU) that converts electrical power to the correct voltage for a computer.
2.) Motherboard :- A motherboard is the main printed circuit board (PCB) in a computer that connects all its
components. It's the central point of communication for the computer.
3.) Random Access Memory :- RAM stands for Random Access Memory, and it's a type of short-term
memory in a computer. RAM stores data that the computer's processor needs to access quickly, such as the
operating system (OS) and programs.
4.) Hard Disk :- A hard disk, also known as a hard disk drive (HDD), is a physical device that stores data on a
computer

physical variations on its surface
