 A brief history of the Internet and the worldwide web (WWW). Briefly explain the difference
between the Internet and the WWW

 List of current development and editing tools for generating HTML tags and CSS.

 The evolution of HTML and CSS from original versions to the latest version and the main types of web
browsers that support their use.

 The Doctype tag – what is it for and why is it used.

 Deprecated HTML Tags, what are they? give examples.

 The difference between XHTML and HTML.

my work" statement etc. This page should also contain links for the user to navigate to the main pages of
the site. This page should be called index.html

Page 2- should contain the following elements: (max 1000 words) – to be saved as history.html

1. The history of the Internet. The history of the WWW (World Wide Web) and the difference
between the Internet and the WWW
2. List of development and editing tools for generating HTML tags and CSS. State which one you have
chosen for this assignment and why.
Page 3– should contain the following elements : (max 1000 words) – to be saved as evolution.html

1. The different versions of HTML from HTML 2.0 to the latest version.

2. The different versions of CSS from CSS1 to the latest version.

3. Doctype - what it is for and why it is used.

4. Explain the term Deprecated Tags in relation to HTML code. Give examples.

Tip - Use a table in word to identify the tag, it's use & purpose and check it if used.
