Opening & Welcome

Anchor 1:
A very good morning to everyone present here!
We welcome you all to the most awaited “Bits & Bytes” Quiz Competition – a tech showdown that brings out the
brilliance, speed, and curiosity of our young digital minds from Classes 6 to 8.

Anchor 2:
This exciting event is organized by the IT & Robotics Club of TM International School and aims to enhance
knowledge, boost confidence, and encourage healthy competition.

Let us begin this wonderful day by extending a warm welcome to our dignitaries and guests:

 The respected House Incharges of Jai, Pratap, Sanga, and Udai Houses.

 Our energetic Event Incharges who continuously guide and inspire our students.

 And most importantly, our enthusiastic participants and audience – give yourselves a big round of
applause! 👏👏

📋 General Rules & Guidelines

Before we begin, here are some important rules and guidelines for the quiz:

 Only 4 students from each house will participate.

 Questions will be directed to the teams turn-by-turn.

 Only one member from the team will answer each question. If answered by multiple participants within
the given time, the house will be disqualified from that question.

 Each house can also earn 5 marks for discipline, fair play, and respectful behavior throughout the
competition. So make sure you show your best!

Let’s now jump into the rounds!

🧠 Round 1: Tech Basics (General Knowledge)

 Each house will be asked 1 question.

 You have 10 seconds to answer the question.

 Correct answer: 4 marks

 No passing and no negative marking

Let’s begin with House Jai, followed by Pratap, Sanga, and then Udai.

(Questions are asked one by one to each team. Applaud correct answers. Tally scores after all teams have attempted.)
Round 2: Visual Round (Logo/Icon Identification)

 Each house will be shown 2 visual logos or icons.

 Correct answer: 4 marks

 Incorrect answer: -2 marks

 Skip: 0 marks

 10 seconds per visual

Let’s test your observation and tech branding skills!

(Show visuals on screen. Ask houses in same order. Keep the energy lively.)

⚡ Round 3: Rapid Fire Round

 Each house will get 50 seconds.

 As many questions as you can answer within time!

 Correct answer: 5 marks

 No negative marking

 If unsure, say “pass” to move to the next question quickly.

Get ready to think fast and answer faster!

(Begin with House Jai and go in the same order. Keep countdown running and note scores.)

🔔 Round 4: Buzzer Round

 Anyone can press the buzzer and answer.

 Correct answer: 4 marks

 Incorrect answer: -2 marks

 No passing allowed

Buzzers ready? Fingers on alert? Let's begin!

(Ask open-ended questions. Whichever house presses first gets the chance. Exciting music or sound effects can be used
here.)

🎯 Judgement Criteria Reminder

Along with the quiz scores, each house will be awarded up to 5 extra marks based on:
 Discipline

 Fair Play

 Respectful Behavior

These will be added by our panel of judges at the end.
