About Our Program
The Associate of Applied Science degree Special Considerations
program in Computer Software Specialist is Entry into the program requires the
designed to prepare students to enter the satisfactory completion of four (4) units of high

in the computer field. Students completing this
program will be qualified for the following
positions: Computer Software Specialist,
Information Processing Specialist, Computer
Lab Assistant, Help-Desk Technician, Database
Operator/Manager, Software Consultant,
programmer, software tester, and analyst.
Students may also transfer to a 4-year college or
university.

Opportunities for Advancement


Opportunities for advancement are excellent
for those willing to continue their education and
training. Students may wish to enhance their
advancement opportunities by pursuing
certifications available from various software
vendors.
