[Question 1] Tell me a little bit about yourself?

1) Let me take a quick moment to introduce myself … Hello, my name is Truong

Hoang Bao. I am here to interview for the QA Engineer position at XXX company.
I’m 26 years old and I come from Ho Chi Minh City.

2) Now, I’m renting an apartment in District 9 in Saigon with my younger sister

… We lived together for 3 years because this place was very convenient for her
to get to school at University everyday, it’s also another thing that we really
enjoy with the independent lifestyle (don't really want to receive too much care
from my parents.)

And I also see that the distance from my house to the ASWhite office won’t be
too far, I find it extremely convenient when we often have to get to work. I
understand that we adopt a “hybrid” work approach, but I believe in some cases
we also need to present in the office to work with a team to easily handle urgent
tasks or solve the problem. So I’d prefer to be in the office frequently for face-to-
face discussions, I think it’s very truly beneficial.

3) About education - I graduated from the University Information of Technology

with a major in Information System … so that means I have the ability to reach
technical skills while working on my role. (I can understand the concept of
programming language, about databases, systems analysis, and operating
systems) but most of them will take some time for me to remind myself as I don't
usually use it much in my current position, so it may not be possible for me to
remember it fully.

4) In terms of my background, I’m a Software Test Engineer with over 4 and a

half years of experience in handling functional testing based on desktop, web-
app, mobile application, and Salesforce systems. And I have had the opportunity
to participate in various aspects of the software development lifecycle, from
requirements gathering to final release.

During my time as a QA Manual Engineer, I have worked closely with

development and product teams to create comprehensive test plans and test
cases that cover all possible scenarios, contributing to the overall improvement
of software quality. My Manual Testing approach has allowed me to uncover
critical defects and inconsistencies that I have promptly documented and
communicated to the development team.

Beyond testing, I have actively contributed to the QA process enhancement and

documentation, aiming to streamline workflows and provide valuable insights.
I'm enthusiastic about the prospect of applying my expertise to elevate your
team's QA efforts and deliver exceptional software to your users.

I take immense pride in my ability to maintain thorough documentation, which

has proven valuable for future reference and audits. Additionally, I have been
involved in mentoring new team members, sharing my knowledge and
experience to ensure a cohesive and high-performing QA team.

Well … and so that is everything basic information about me.
