“Ow!

I feel a sharp pain in my back as I get up from a dumpster? That should not have been
possible. I am a god, an immortal being, lord of war. I looked around and saw that my
dignifed self was in a dumpster.
“Why am I in a dumpster!?!”
“SHUT UP!”
I looked around and saw somebody.
She was a young lady in a janitor's jacket. Her name tag read “Venus”
“I am Mars!” I roared
I wanted to blast the mortal with fiery rage. But for some reason nothing happened.
That had to be a mistake.
“Where is my power mortal?” I roared in rage “Did you steal it? What sorcery is this?”
But then I heard a noise. One I know well. Fighting. I rushed towards the noise and got
ready to jump in. I looked around at the people fighting. One of them was an old man with a
scruffy beard and a name tag that said “Jupiter”. The other was a girl that looked about
the same age as a 10 year old. Her name tag said Minvera. Then I remembered. Percy
Jackson failed us. He did not beat Saturn, Titan of time. SO now us Olypyons are stuck
here as mortals in a new Golden age.

I jumped as I saw a Hellhound walk into the alley.

He smiled as he saw us. “Hello our guests of honor.” “Follow me mortals!” He caclked. I did
not want to follow him but my mortal body decided that I had to go with him. I guess this is
the disadventige of being mortal. YOu get scared very easily. Luckly we had Diana on our
team so in a short time the Hellhound was redueced to a pile of ash.
“So Mars,” Diana says “You do know where we have to go now dont you.”
I nodded. We had to go to the haunted house of Poretraya.

“Ugh” I moaned “Why did they have to take away our veicals?!”
We were going up a very steep hill and had to walk.
One thing about gods, we are used to having demigods do all of the hevey lifting for us. So
this was a blow.
“Finnaly we are here!” Apollo exclaimed
As we entered the house I stepped on a particularly creaky stair and Minvera jumped. Like I
said, mortals tend to scare easily. We walked into the living room to dusty widows and erie
nosies. I should probably explain what we are doing here. So this house is a direct route to
the underworld where we could get help reorganizing from Pluto. Since Pluto is not one of
the oylmpions,he did not get turned into a mortal. So in reality, he is the only god that has
the othority and power to turn us into gods again so we could do what Percy Jacksom
could not.
“Hello!” said Diana, aiming an arrow at my face. “ Dont get controlled yet!”
You see, unlike any of the other underworld entrances, this one requires you to be either
drunk or it will control your mind intok a drunken state. That is why we closed off that
entrence so not too many spirts will escape the underworld that way. If they did, then when
they came out they would be drunk and a danger to the mortals. And we dont want a
legintment zombie apocolypes on our hands. And I doght Hecates’s mist would becuase to
cloud that much mthy” activity from mortal eyes.
