LEARNING OUTCOMES:
At the end of this assignment, students will be able to:
1. Prepare a report related to data communication and networking using basic computing tools.
2. Demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills in completing the course assignment.

Part 1: 20%
CASE STUDIES:

As technology rapidly expands, PARADIGM recruitment company based in Kuala Lumpur required changes
in their existing infrastructure to fulfil the growing demand of the business. Their current network system consists of
standalone PC systems connected within the organization only for the day-to-day business operations. With the new
infrastructure with two-storey building, the company is required to have a fully featured system including remote access
connectivity to their new two branches located in Johor and Sabah. Therefore, it is required to migrate to a centralized
system with the latest server which provides an effective management system for the company.
On the ground floor, the main users are the receptionist, recruitment consultants and their potential clients.
Four meeting rooms for face-to-face and an online interview session available to offer a relaxed but professional and
confidential interview environment. Besides that, there is a newly open computer lab provided to the job seekers with
computers and network printers. On the other hand, the sales representatives who travel to various locations and need
wireless communications capabilities.
The second floor has a management office and one server room with two PCs for database and network
administrator. Besides that, the director of the company office, Mr. Wong, is over there. He needs his laptop to be
connected to the entire system.

TASK:
The company is hiring your team as an IT consultant to enhance their operational performance. Therefore, write a report
to recommend the most appropriate network infrastructure for the organization. Besides that, propose network layout
for their new open computer lab that supported 30 potential clients.

2) Presentation:
a) Present this task inside class within 20 minutes (including Q&A session). Make sure all the team
