1. It is mandatory for all the students to complete Semester internship


either in V Semester or in VI Semester.
2. Every student should identify the organization for internship in
consultation with the College Principal/the authorized person
nominated by the Principal.
3. Report to the intern organization as per the schedule given by the
College. You must make your own arrangements for transportation
to reach the organization.
4. You should maintain punctuality in attending the internship. Daily
attendance is compulsory.
5. You are expected to learn about the organization, policies,
procedures, and processes by interacting with the people working in
the organization and by consulting the supervisor attached to the
interns.
6. While you are attending the internship, follow the rules and
regulations of the intern organization.
7. While in the intern organization, always wear your College Identity
Card.
8. If your College has a prescribed dress as uniform, wear the uniform
daily, as you attend to your assigned duties.
9. You will be assigned a Faculty Guide from your College. He/She will
be creating a WhatsApp group with your fellow interns. Post your
daily activity done and/or any difficulty you encounter during the
internship.
10. Identify five or more learning objectives in consultation with
your Faculty Guide. These learning objectives can address:
a. Data and Information you are expected to collect about the
organization and/or industry.
b. Job Skills you are expected to acquire.
c. Development of professional competencies that lead to future
career success.
11. Practice professional communication skills with team members,
co-interns, and your supervisor. This includes expressing thoughts
and ideas effectively through oral, written, and non-verbal
communication, and utilizing listening skills.
12. Be aware of the communication culture in your work

environment. Follow up and communicate regularly with your
supervisor to provide updates on your progress with work
assignments.

13. Never be hesitant to ask questions to make sure you fully
understand what you need to do your work and to contribute to the
organization.
14. Be regular in filling up your Program Book. It shall be filled up in
your own handwriting. Add additional sheets wherever necessary.
15. At the end of internship, you shall be evaluated by your
Supervisor of the intern organization.
16. There shall also be evaluation at the end of the internship by
the Faculty Guide and the Principal.
17. Do not meddle with the instruments/equipment you work with.
18. Ensure that you do not cause any disturbance to the regular
activities of the intern organization.
19. Be cordial but not too intimate with the employees of the intern
organization and your fellow interns.
20. You should understand that during the internship programme,
you are the ambassador of your College, and your behavior during
the internship programme is of utmost importance.
21. If you are involved in any discipline related issues, you will be
withdrawn from the internship programme immediately and
disciplinary action shall be initiated.
22. Do not forget to keep up your family pride and prestige of your
College.

Describe the work environment you have experienced (in terms of people interactions,
facilities available and maintenance, clarity of job roles, protocols, procedures, processes,
discipline, time management, harmonious relationships, socialization, mutual support and
teamwork, motivation, space and ventilation, etc.)

A work environment is a place where a person or intent or people performs job.it can impact the
feeling ,
relationship and growth of interns during the internship. I did my internship on able to experience a
good
environment.I interacted with SAMPATH INFO PRIVATE LIMITED .Mr .D. ANIL KUMAR who

offered me the opportunity of an internship.

I interacted my project guides Mrs.DEEPTHI KIRANMAYI,

who trained us and give some valuable suggestions and rendered her incompletion of my project.our

internal guides Mrs.Y. SRIDEVI guided us .the co interns and faculty were friendly and approachable

so it was easy for me to help and clarify things whenever I needed it .

The facilities were in workplace were maintained well .a lab with

fully equipped computer systems wifi and projector to take classes.the work had well established
protocols
,procedure and processes that were strictly.the timing are with minimal breaks for mind .clear guidance

was given regarding the different activities to be done.

The internship time was full of discipline and made me punctual in completing my

work in time and develop my time management skills . I experienced some harmonious relationships

with my co interns and guides ,lecturers to work together and complete the internship.

During this i realized that was a mutual support between all of even in the bunch over works
my
teammates supported and help me to get out of p;ressure of over work.Raising my network of people

to enhance my community and interpersonal skills .

The work was adequate and ventilation was good .My experience in the work .

my experience in the work environment during my internship was positive with help

me to stay motivated and my internship successful.

we also learn some key consideration and setting a goal and we followed some keys
like that the goal must be achievable,realistic and can be measurable mainly goal

I have learned to plan my work each day and what I need for the next day without
postponing. planning skill in iot a is crucial in real time.

BEHAVIOR:

I have learned so many things from my lecturers and trainers that behavior is very
important while doing experiments . I maintain good behavior while listening.

Time is very valuable and we utilize our time while performing experiments and also

Describe how you could improve your communication skills (in terms of improvement in oral

Communication is not only about what you say but also how you say if I always
communicate with my team is a very polite way and also I give respect to my team in all
aspects such as listening Idea and thoughts.

I always listen to my co - interns to understand exactly what they are telling and in turn I
can give any suggestions and modifications for what they said. Through this I can build a
good relationship with my team .

always used to communicate with my co interns face to face so that I can develop trust
and workplace relationship more quickly

In my internship program ,I learn how to communicate with different people with


different mind set I have learn to be confident while expressing my ideas and thoughts to
my co-intern so that I can communicate with them in a better way

I always thank my team members who help me to get the knowledge about the
project that we are done I always make sure that my ideas and thoughts to be detected

I enhance my abilities in a group discussion by introducing the topic and


purpose of the discussion introducing myself and the other team members
making sure all the members have approximately the same time to speak
thanking group members for their contribution and being objective in
summarizing the group discussion and achievement

I always participate in any group discussion with my co interns with an


appropriate tone that means I can be I convey my thoughts and ideas in your
very soft and polite manner and also I speak to m y team with the high

managed my team with the set of rules and such as no arguments people but

The disagreement should be respectful but not


ridiculous don't interrupt listen to the other team members thoughts expect the
other times try to keep your comments reason will short and to be point so that
the others have a chance to respond consider seriously and try to evaluate them
fairly don't be defensive if someone disagree with you everyone is responsible
for following and holding the ground rule.

Internal & External Evaluation for Semester
Internship

Objectives:
● Explore career alternatives prior to graduation.
● To assess interests and abilities in the field of study.
● To develop communication, interpersonal and other critical skills in
the future job.
● To acquire additional skills required for the world of work.
● To acquire employment contacts leading directly to a full-time job
following graduation from college.

Assessment Model:
● There shall be both internal evaluation and external evaluation
● The Faculty Guide assigned is in-charge of the learning activities of
the students and for the comprehensive and continuous
assessment of the students.
● The assessment is to be conducted for 200 marks. Internal
Evaluation for 50 marks and External Evaluation for 150 marks
● The number of credits assigned is 12. Later the marks shall be
converted into grades and grade points to include finally in the
SGPA and CGPA.
● The weightings for Internal Evaluation shall be:
o Activity Log 10 marks
o Internship Evaluation 30 marks
o Oral Presentation 10 marks
● The weightings for External Evaluation shall be:
o Internship Evaluation 100 marks
o Viva-Voce 50 marks
● The External Evaluation shall be conducted by an Evaluation
Committee comprising of the Principal, Faculty Guide, Internal
Expert and External Expert nominated by the affiliating University.
The Evaluation Committee shall also consider the grading given by
the Supervisor of the Intern Organization.
● Activity Log is the record of the day-to-day activities. The Activity
Log is assessed on an individual basis, thus allowing for individual
members within groups to be assessed this way. The assessment
will take into consideration

the individual student’s involvement in the assigned work.
● While evaluating the student’s Activity Log, the following shall be
considered -
a.The individual student’s effort and commitment.
b. The originality and quality of the work produced by the individual
student.
c.The student’s integration and co-operation with the work assigned.
d. The completeness of the Activity Log.
● The Internship Evaluation shall include the following components
and based on Weekly Reports and Outcomes Description
a. Description of the Work Environment.
b. Real Time Technical Skills acquired.
c. Managerial Skills acquired.
d. Improvement of Communication Skills.
e. Team Dynamics
f. Technological Developments recorded.
