30 Marks.
Due: 3:00 p.m. 6h February 2025
Instruction:
Using a Word processing application, complete the following tasks:

➢ Create a table of content with at least three levels using the styles option in the Home
menu tab and References menu tab.
➢ Create a table of figures using the Captions group in References menu tab.
➢ Create a pie chart (chart title, percentage, category labels or legend) using the chart tool
from the insert menu tab.
➢ Create a column graph (chart title and axis titles) using the chart tool from the inset menu
tab.
➢ Insert a mathematical equation with coefficients and exponents using the equation tool
from the insert menu tab.
➢ Insert a scientific equation with chemical bases using the equation tool from the insert
menu tab.
➢ Create captions using the captions group in references menu tab.
➢ Create a bibliography comprising of at least five different sources formatted using APA
style and the Citations & Bibliography group in the References menu tab.
➢ Create three different kinds of SmartArt graphics using the insert menu tab.
➢ Insert and crop an image using the insert menu tab and picture toolbar.
➢ Create a compound shape using the shapes tool in the insert Menu tab and group those
shapes as one using the shape tool.
➢ Use bold, underline and italic on text data.
➢ Create three different lists using the Bullets tool, Numbering tool and Multilevel list tool
respectively from the Home menu tab.
➢ Insert columns using the Columns tool in Layout menu tab.
➢ Insert column break, page break and section break using the Layout Menu tab.
➢ Change page margin, page orientation and page size from the Layout menu tab.
➢ Create a table of data demonstrating the use of Repeat Header Rows feature in the Table
toolbar.
➢ Change font type and font size.
➢ Insert Page Numbers in Document using Page Number tool in the Insert menu tab.
