Yes, possible siya — but only because panlaban ako sa Quiz Bees. Back then, I really wanted to
enroll sa Brain Train but ₱𝟏𝟎𝐤+? Kalahati na ng sweldo ni Papa yon sa isang buwan e It was
really impossible for our family to afford that.

𝐊𝐚𝐲𝐚 𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐲𝐚𝐠𝐚-𝐭𝐲𝐚𝐠𝐚 𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐠.

I solely passed because namaster ko almost lahat sa Math and Science. Regional medalist ba
naman sa Calabarzon, plus some wins sa National Quizbees/Olympiads.

Being a quizzer my entire life saved me. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐟?

𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐩. 𝐁𝐮𝐭 𝐝𝐚𝐡𝐢𝐥
𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐤𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚, 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐛𝐞𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲.

No one even guided me sa pagpili ng course-campus sa UPCAT and ang naging basis ko lang is —

𝘱𝘢𝘳𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘨𝘥𝘰𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳, 𝘵𝘢𝘴 𝘮𝘢𝘪𝘢𝘩𝘰𝘯 𝘯𝘢 𝘱𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘺𝘢 𝘬𝘰 𝘴𝘢 𝘩𝘪𝘳𝘢𝘱."

𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐲 𝐞𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡, 𝐈 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐮𝐩 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐏. When the pandemic hit, I

dream course supposedly, but I placed it as my second choice 𝐔𝐏 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧'𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐦𝐞


realized how I love both the entire Math and Science domains, not just Biology. Chem Eng talaga

𝐭𝐨 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 after I passed UPCAT, no matter how hard I pleaded. Bawal
pa siya noon e. By that time, Ate Tin from Ateneo helped me to habol sa enrollment under their
BS EcE Program, when I felt like it's the safest detour left.
𝐈𝐟 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐚 𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞.

𝐈𝐟 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐈 𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐲 𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥.

Now, I built a tutorial startup on the sole goal of helping students who were once like me —

We believe that College is one of the legitimate stepping stones toward that goal. Having a fair
