1. Introduce yourself.

My name is Suby Anna Koshy. I hail from Kerala. I did my schooling from Gurgaon. I
presently reside in Rajasthan. I did Bachelors in Commerce from University of Rajasthan and
then I joined for my master’s degree at Christ Institute of Management and did PGDM
specializing in Finance with HR as my minor. In the tenure of my master’s course I did two
internships.

My first internship was with National Investigation Agency, New Delhi. I was associated as
Financial Analyst for 2 months and was assigned with certain tasks like analyzing of
individuals bank statements, analysis of companies balance sheets & profit & loss statements.
After the analysis I was asked to submit the report on the findings of the cases I dealt.

My second internship was with Honda Motorcycles & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd., Rajasthan. I
assisted my HR manager as a Trainee for one month. I learnt an overview about HR practices
in the manufacturing industry also I was given the task of screening the applications for
recruitment.

Other than my Internships I have done certification courses on Accounting and advanced
Excel. Also I have shown active participation in management & cultural fests during my
college days.

I wish to pursue a career in core-finance and see us mutually grow.

2. What are your strengths? Justify them with appropriate examples.

I have shown an active participation during my school & college days. I have represented
myself in various competitions like debate, extempore, declamation, essay writing, Ad-Mad
to name a few and I have won several awards for the same. Therefore I see myself as a very
active individual who confidently takes challenges.

Other than this I have been nominated and appointed several times as Class Representative,
Cultural Secretary, House Captain & Coordinator of several events during my college &
school days for my leadership, organized & professional traits.
3. What are your weaknesses? Justify them with appropriate examples.

I have certification in advanced excel but due to lack of practice I miss out on certain
concepts. Therefore I am working upon my technical aspects to be stronger.

Also I am little hesitant in talking to strangers. So, I am trying to build my networking skills
through LinkedIn. I am trying to socialize with various domain experts.

4. Why should we hire you?

Your organization is seeking for someone who has a sound knowledge in accounting and is
motivated & very organized to complete the day to day production numbers. And as I said
they are my strengths and I will give my best to help the department in achieving the long
term & the short term goals which will give impact to the business.

5. Let us know about your internship and what did you learn there?

I have done two internships. My first internship was with National Investigation Agency,
New Delhi, functioning as the Central Counter Terrorism Law Enforcement Agency in India.
I was associated as Financial Analyst for 2 months and was assigned with 3 cases wherein I
was given a responsibility to analyze around 50 individuals’ bank statements with more than
lakhs of transactions; also I have analyzed companies’ balance sheets & profit & loss
statements. After the analysis I was asked to submit the report on the findings of the cases I
dealt.

My second internship was with Honda Motorcycles & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd., Rajasthan. I

6. What are your short term and long term goals?

My short term goal is to get an opportunity in finance with an organization which looks for
mutual growth. And Long term is to be a subject matter expert in my domain and help others
also grow within the organization.
7. If some other company offers you more remuneration, which company will you join? And
why?

Well remuneration is not the only aspect I look for. If the company is giving me a better post
and a great environment to work with which will help us grow mutually then definitely I
would join that company.

8. Who inspires you the most? And why?

My huge inspiration since my childhood days has been Priyanka Chopra, who is the brand
ambassador of UNICEF. The reason behind that woman being my inspiration is she’s always
on her toes and an achiever in her life. And I want to be someone like her who is always
determined to work and still finds a balance and be a versatile human being who is ready to
face any challenges with utmost grace and poise.

9. What would you like us to know about you which are not there in your resume?

I have a huge inclination towards travelling and like to explore different locations and cities.
During my free time I find out some new location & explore that place. I really dream about
covering the entire globe in my life span and also soon wish to start my travel blog on one of
the social site too.

10. Would you be comfortable with relocation and travelling if needed?

Like I mentioned I have a huge inclination towards travelling therefore I can relocate
wherever my work takes me.

11. Suppose you are required to work on a group project and the deadline is day after
tomorrow but one of your team members is not willing to work at all. The deadline could
not be met if any of the team members refuses to work. If you are the team leader, how
would you handle the situation?

First of all I will find the reason behind why my team member is not willing to work, if it is
some critical matter & can be sorted & motivate him & get him back to work then I’ll do that.
If he is still not willing to work and the matter can’t be sorted I’ll see how much work is there
 which has been left pending by my team member. If I can resolve it on my own then I will do
that, else I’ll delegate the work to my team members or assign someone for that post and meet
the deadline.

12. Tell us ten different uses of ‘Pen’ except writing.

● The pen can be used as gift.

● It can be used as a spy camera.
● Its parts can be used to teach the students about various objects like cylinder, cone, etc.
● Its ink can be used for painting.
● It can be used to put in the coat pocket.

13. What are your expectations? (Work and salary)

Well I expect a salary of ₹5 lakhs/- p.a because below that won’t help me to meet up my
requirements.

14. Who all are there in your family and what do they do?

We are three in our family, my dad, mom & me. My dad is associated with Hero Moto corp.
since 31 years. & my mother is a homemaker.

15. Suppose you are stuck in a condition in which you are equally required at your home as
well as in your office for e.g.: there is an urgent meeting and you get a call from your
daughter that there is an emergency at your home. How would you handle it?

Well I would call up my daughter first to ask what the matter and if that could be handled by
someone else from the neighbour or my husband then I would do that and go for the meeting.
But if it is something really important which can only be addressed by me then I will call up
my boss and request him if there is any other time we could shift this meeting to or if
someone else from the team could lead the meeting then that shall be really helpful to me.
16. What makes you different from the other candidates applying for the same position?

Well I do not know other candidates who have applied to this job. They all might be having
some calibre that is the reason they are sitting for this interview just the way I am. So it is not
right of me to pull them down and show myself superior to them. I just know who I am and
what my calibre is and I respect my fellow candidates for who they are and their calibre.
