ABSTRACT

Hotel management system is evergreen project in real life.

In this mini project we have created an application which is specially

developed for hotel staff. The mini project Hotel Management System
manages and maintains the records of customers ,room and food orders
of customer in the hotel.

This application has been made in a user friendly interface, so that

anyone can add, delete and update the entries of customer easily. For
this application we have used backend as MYSQL to store the data which
is used in the application for the user interface. Front end we have used
Python Tkinter. Tkinter is the standard GUI library for python.

Visitors/Clients come to hotel and book a room for themselves for some
duration. Customers will provide their personal details and hotel will
provide rooms according to their need if it is available. There are different
types of rooms like AC Room, A2BC, Non AC Room, Deluxe, Seminar Hall.
There will be charge for every room according to facilities and type of
room. There will be charge for food orders made by customers. During
checkout the customer should make total payment which includes cost
of room for specified period of time and cost of food orders. Once the
payment is done the customer will get the receipt.
