Absolute verse relative cell references

B6 (column $B$6) (row B$6$ ):

Highlight the cells in the direction you want to go when typing cells

Type the inputs in the first two cells and drag across to fill in the rest of the desired cells

Fill a row/column

1. Type the first cell


2. Highlight the cells you want to fill
3. Click the “FILL” tab
4. Click the “series” tab Step value (fill in the first cell) Stop value (fill in the last cell)

You can click on the Fx (function tab on the top of the excel page, click financial, and get the list of
options

Name your cells in excel:

Click on formulas (note: you can name your cells one at a time by clicking “define name”)
