Project Description
Our project "Grain2Gain" introduces an AI-powered food redistribution ecosystem
that connects surplus food suppliers with those in need. The platform features
predictive analytics for demand forecasting, ensuring better production planning
and reduced waste. It includes a real-time matching system that connects food
suppliers with nearby recipients based on food type, quantity, location, and time
sensitivity.

The platform features a user-friendly mobile application for all stakeholders,

allowing farmers and retailers to quickly list surplus food and NGOs to claim
available donations. A blockchain-based verification system ensures food safety
and traceability throughout the redistribution process.

Additional features include route optimization for efficient pickup and delivery,
food quality assessment tools, and impact tracking dashboards for suppliers to
visualize their contribution to reducing waste and fighting hunger. A data analytics
dashboard provides insights on waste patterns and prevention opportunities.

By addressing critical inefficiencies in food distribution, our solution offers a

sustainable, efficient, and impactful approach to reducing waste while addressing
food insecurity.

Seasonal Variability
Agricultural surpluses fluctuate seasonally, requiring flexible
capacity and alternative sources during low-production
periods.

Regulatory Compliance
Different regions have varying food safety and donation
regulations that must be accommodated in the platform
