Physics 2
Physics 2
[This course can be studied in Grade 11, by itself or in conjunction with one or two other Grade 11 science courses. This course is
a prerequisite to studying Physics 3 as an elective in Grade 12.
COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is designed to assist learners to better understand the physical world and how it works. The course
explores fundamental physics principles, models, theories and laws, and their applications in advancing science and technology. Learners
will build understanding of how matter, motion and energy interact in the natural world through both descriptive and quantitative
understanding and problem solving. The course builds learners’ skills in investigating, communicating, collaborating, information processing,
and problem solving, to help them better understand how Physics impacts on Filipino society as well as other global societies.
