Birthday Magic
This is a technique by which we can predict a person’s birthday without that person telling
us. It is an amazing party game. Ask a friend to take open the calculator app on his mobile.
Then ask him to do the following steps without showing you anything. And lo, after all steps
are done you can easily predict when is his/her birthday!
STEPS
a) Ask your friend to write the month number in which he/she is born (January = 1,
February = 2, March = 3, December = 12)
b) Multiply by 2
c) Add 5
d) Multiply by 5
e) Put a zero behind (Multiply by 10)
f) Add date
Ask him to tell you the final answer.
Now on the basis of his final answer you can find out when is your friend ’s birthday. The
secret is to remove 250 from his answer. The last two digits will give you the date and the
other digits on the left hand side will give you the month number.

If your friend’s answer is 876. Then, from 876 you subtract 250 and get 626. His date of
birth is 26 (last two numbers) and his month of birth is 6 (June)
Calculate the birth dates for the following totals by subtracting 250 from them
