Recognition Script

Intro - To our ever dynamic, versatile and handsome Head Teacher III Mr. Jose Marie B.
Villanueva, to our ever competent and deeply motivated members of Pondol Elementary School
faculty and staff, to our active members of the Sangguniang Barangay headed by our young at
heart and enthusiastic Brgy. Captain Hon. Amelia B. Distajo, to the diligent and participative
PTA officers headed by our President Mrs. Claire B. Gallano, to the proud and loving parents,
dear pupils, visitors, friends, ladies and gentlemen, A blessed morning to everyone. This
morning’s event marks as one of the most-awaited part not only to our dear pupils but also to our
proud and supportive parents. I do believe that behind this significant event are not only teachers
who have rendered their invaluable services by guiding and teaching these pupils but also the
parents who give them the support financially, love and encouragement in every school activity.
I’ll take this opportunity to say thank you and congratulations my dear parents. and I may say,
the credit is all yours for all the sacrifices you’ve done just for the sake of your children. “Abi
mga anak palakpaki Ninyo inyo mga tatay kag nanay kay in inga recognition program indi lang
para sa inyo, para man ini sa ila, kung kamo gabakas sang pag-eskwela, sila ga bakas-bakas
man panarabaho para matustusan inyo tanan nga mga kinahanglanon.”
I, II & III - To formally start our program, may I request everyone to please stand for the
singing of our Philippine National Anthem to be played on air. This will be followed by our
Kindergarten adviser, Mrs. Cherry Vive I. Calinao, Teacher I. After which is the singing of
Capiz Hymn, still to be played on air.
You may now be seated.
IV - At this juncture, may I call on our dedicated Head Teacher III, Mr. Jose Marie Villanueva,
in his Opening Remarks.
Thank you, sir.
V - Before we go through, an intermission number will be given to us by the Grade.
Segway* The main course of this program is the recognition of every pupil’s hard work and
perseverance. It is time for the pinning of ribbons, putting on medals and awarding of
certificates, we are to give rightful recognition of deserving pupils of Pondol Elementary School
for the School Year 2024-2025. I’ll give the honor to our respective teacher advisers. Let’s start
with the Grade 6, under the advisory of Ms. Dianna Jun D. Delatorre, Teacher I. followed by the
Kindergaten under the advisory of Mrs. Cherry Vive I. Calinao, Teacher I. Next will be the
Grade I under the command of Mrs. Mariciar B. Boco, Teacher III. Afterwards is the Grade 2
under the guidance of Mrs. Monaliza B. Bornasal, Teacher III. Next will be the Grade IV under
the aide of Mrs. Lita A. Seredio, Teacher II. And lastly, the Grade 5, under the mentorship of
Mrs. Leona A. Babela, Teacher I. My fellow teachers, be ready for your call. Thank you.

Graduation Script
INTRO* This month of April is one of the most awaited months for all of us, most especially on
the part of the learners as well as of course those parents who for the first time ever see their son
or daughter be one of those members of the graduating class during their processional. And here
you are today, your month-long waiting and preparations comes into reality. Today another
history slowly unfolds as we come to an end of School Year 2024-2025. But before we go
further, I would like to take this opportunity to welcome our distinguished and honored guests to
be introduced to us later on the latter part of our ceremony as well as the parents, the
stakeholders of this institution, colleagues, the Brgy. Officials, officers and members of PTA.
Members of the graduating class batch 2025, visitors, good afternoon to everyone.
I - PROCESSIONAL* This is the 32nd closing exercises and moving up ceremony of Pondol
Elementary School. Ladies and gentlemen, a big round of applause to the processional march of
the graduating class of 2024-2025 together with their parents, followed by highly esteemed
guests, my fellow educators headed by our dynamic and supportive Head Teacher Mr. Jose
Marie B. Villanueva.
II-IV - PRAYER-CAPIZ HYMN* At this moment, please all stand as we pay tribute to our
country by the singing of our Philippine National Anthem led by the teaching staff of Pondol
Elementary School. And please remain standing as we honor our Great Creator and Provider to
be led by Mrs. Cherry Vive I. Calinao, Teacher I. And stand still as teaching staff leading the
Capiz Hymn.
V - WELCOME ADDRESS* At this point, let us lend our ears to listen to the words of
welcome of April R. Distajo, with honors of the graduating class……..
Thank you April for that warmth welcome address.
VI-VII- PRESENTATION OF CANDIDATES FOR GRADUATION* And now the main
highlights of today’s affair were about to unfold in our midst, to do the honors of presenting of
this year’ candidates for graduation, May I call on Mr. Jose Marie B. Villanueva, our amiable
Head Teacher III, and to a most humble person I’ve ever known, Mrs. May Fuentes Dolor, Head
Teacher III of Marita Elementary School, in her confirmation in behalf of our Schools Division
Superintendent Roel F. Bermejo.
Thank you, ma’am. Ladies and gentlemen, a round of applause to our confirming officer, and
congratulations graduates and completers.
VIII - DISTRIBUTION OF CERTIFICATES*The fruit of each learner’s endeavor is the
certificate of graduation or diploma, claiming it at this moment, once again may we have on the
stage our Head Teacher III Mr. Jose Marie B. Villanueva and
our Schools Division Superintendent Roel F. Bermejo, to be represented by the Head Teacher III
of Marita Elementary School once more at the center stage, the one and only Mrs. May F. Dolor.
(Assisting us are Ms. Dianna Jun D. Dela Torre, for the graduates and Mrs. Cherry Vive I.
Calinao for our completers)
Once again, congratulations my dear graduates and completers. And thank you ma’ams and sir
for the distribution of certificates.

IX – MESSAGE OF THE DEPED SECRETARY* A message from our DepEd Secretary,


Sen. Sonny Angara will be delivered to us on his behalf, once again Mrs. May F. Dolor, Head
Teacher III of Marita Elementary School.

X - AWARDING OF CERTIFICATE & TOKEN TO THE CONFIRMING OFFICER*


May I request our Head Teacher III Mrs. May F. Dolor to please remain at the center stage. The
teaching staff, graduates and parents are very much honored for having you here as our
confirming officer, having said that, please accept this Certificate and a token from our Head
Teacher III Mr. Jose Marie B. Villanueva.
I will read the citation of the certificate.

XI - XII - INTRO & MESSAGE OF THE GUEST SPEAKER* Another highlight of today’s
affair is the opportunity for us to listen and be inspired to the words of inspirations from our
guest of honor, so to formally introduce to us our guest speaker for the day may I call Mrs. Rhea
A. Bullag, Teacher III. A round of applause ladies and gentlemen.
Thank you very much madam guest speaker for inspiring our graduates, indeed, we are privilege
to have you here as our keynote speaker. This event would not be meaningful without your
presence. Mabuhay po kayo ma’am.

XIII - AWARDING OF CERTIFICATE & TOKEN TO THE GUEST SPEAKER* May I


request our Guest Speaker, the Rural Health Midwife I, Mrs. Rosalie A. Locsin to please remain
at the center stage for the awarding of Certificate and a token as our expression of gratitude for
you as guest speaker for this momentous event, to do so, we have our Head Teacher III Mr. Jose
Marie B. Villanueva.

I will read the citation of the certificate.

XIV – CONFERMENT OF HONOR PUPILS* In every endeavor, there are always victors
and underdogs, but it doesn’t mean that if you lose, it is already a defeat, as the quote says,
“Losing is not always a defeat and winning is always a victory” means that today, not everybody
made it to the top but those who did are the ones called “cream of the crop”. At this juncture will
be the conferment of honors, once again May I request our Head Teacher III Mrs. May F. Dolor
representing our Schools Division Superintendent Roel F. Bermejo. To be assisted by our Head
Teacher III Mr. Jose Marie B. Villanueva. And to call on our list of honor pupils of the graduates
of class 2025 we have the class adviser, Ms. Dianna D. Dela Torre, Teacher I.

Once again congratulations to the honor pupils and to the proud parents as well.

XV - WORDS OF GRATITUDE* At this moment let us be emboldened by the words of


gratitude of Geian Charles C. Alaro, batch 2025 with honors.

Thank you Geian Charles for encapsulates everything elementary life has to offer.

XVI - PLEDGE OF LOYALTY* to lead the graduates by their pledge of loyalty may I call on
Ryzean Abbey B. Diaz. With honors.

XVII – CLOSING SONG* In every memorable moment of one’s life, there are always songs
that will embody inferred emotions. With a round of applause ladies and gentlemen, the
graduates in their closing songs entitle Hiraya. “Hiraya” is said to be an ancient Tagalog word
meaning “fruit of one’s hopes, dreams, and aspirations.” It’s akin to expressing “sana” in a more
conventional way.

XVIII - MOVING UP SONG* The Completers will showcase their ability to sing as they
deliver to us their Moving Up song.

XIX - TURNING OVER* It’s been almost ten months already that we have witnessed how
these little lads and lasses proved their worth to become a member of this year’s graduates. But
of course, all the sacrifices, unconditional love and untiring support coming from their parents
are the most important part of their journey. So, it’s payback time my dear graduates, show your
love and appreciation as you turn over your medals and certificates to your parents.

XX - CLOSING MESSAGE AND ANNOUNCEMENT* At this juncture, let’s hear a message


and announcement coming from our Head Teacher III Mr. Jose Marie B. Villanueva.

XXI - RECESSIONAL* To all the graduates, honor graduates, completers, and parents,
congratulations. Thank you for gracing this momentous occasion with us. (Read the
