In less than 100 words, write in details about you’re the situation of life here in our country
and what do you think need to be done to improve the cost of life, use some tenses if is
necessary.
We have really been living through difficult times in our country, the cost of life has increased over
the years and the metical has lost value. Every year during the festive season in December, we notice
an increase in the price of products and in January we see a reduction in prices, but this time that was
not what happened. In January of this year, prices continued high and the population wondered why.
One of the reasons was the strike after the elections, because most of the products come from South
Africa and the Ressano Garcia was temporarily closed during the strikes, making the trucks with the
products from non entering the country. Sellers had to increase the price of products, but even after
the Ressano Garcia opened, the price of products continued high and the population has complained
about this. To improve the cost of life, I think we Mozambicans should invest in produce our own
things here in Mozambique, we can’t depend on another country and we also must change the
government, we need people who are compromised to build a better Mozambique.

We all have a bad story in someone’s life
