• To use animation to create the web-pages more interesting

Each website should have a work plan framework which includes

Webpage development guidelines:-
The following parameters should be taken care by the students while developing web-pages:
Web-pages should not be very long
Care should be taken for appropriateness of page and its subject matter
No spelling/grammatical errors
No use of non-factual or illegal information

Aesthetics
Use of colour as per the website target audience
Use of contrast in web-page text and background
Use of graphics and images to enhance presentability of the webpage
Webpages are neatly organized and maintain context Interest

Note:
Web-pages should be easy to navigate
Ensure that all buttons and links given in the web-pages are working as per requirement, link to
home-page is working
Given external web-links should be up to date and working

Design Creativity
All the images are correctly placed and visible as per requirement
Any animation given should be working

All design details of each pages are documented as reference point for Updation/modification
Presentation
Web page should look neat and professional in appearance
All color and background design/images presentation should be presented professionally

Marks Score
The purpose ofthe website is clear and the website fulfills its purpose. The
style for the website is creative and unique.
The layout of the website is correct and is done using CSS (tables must not •
be used for page layout) Division, list, bullets are used properly.

sheet (CSS)
Each page has a unique page title ( using title tag)
Content on the page is well structured with the use of proper heading tags
(HI, H2 etc)
All links are working including inter-webpage links

The website has 2 images per web-page or contains at least 5 images. The
images are properly placed and getting displayed as per requirement. The
images must be associated with proper 'alt' tags
The website contains at least 1 table for presenting data. The header row of
the table must be marked up correctly

There are no errors in the HTML or CSS code
The project was submitted on time (-1 mark for each day late)

Project 1: (Website Development for Weekly Bazar)

You are going to make a web-site for your local weekly bazar. This should contain and display
information about weekly market such as when and how the bazar was formed, which date and time
of the week the bazar is scheduled for, kinds of good available for sale and purchase, who are the
vendors etc. the website should display the list of registered vendors with their name, address, -,
contact information, type of goods they sale. It should also have the option of registering new
vendor and display a new vendor registration form for the vendors to fill-up the details and save it
in a local database. The structure of the web-site should be as follows;
