Eligibility Rules
1. Minimum marks required for passing in each subject Theory/Practical 35%.

2. A candidate is declared as having passed in the First Year Examination if he/she gets a minimum of
30% marks in each paper Theory/Practical and 35% in aggregate in one attempt.

3. The rules relating to improvement of marks in General Intermediate shall be applicable to


Vocational Courses also.

4. The Deaf, Deaf & Dumb, Dyslexia and Mentally handicapped candidates are exempted from
appearing English under Part-A.The Grade will be awarded basing on the remaining papers
appeared.

5. The "Environmental Education" examination is compulsory from the academic year 2006-07. The
Candidates will be issued pass certificates only after qualifying the said subject. The Blind
Candidates are exempted from appearing the Environmental Education Examination only.

6. The English Practical Examinations for General and Vocational streams were introduced for first-
year students in the Academic Year 2023-2024 and for second-year students in the Academic Year
2024-2025. Students will pass the English Exam if they clear both the Theory and Practical Exams.
