Serving God Is An Honor - Part 4
Serving God Is An Honor - Part 4
Serving God is an honor. It’s a privilege given to us by God. The people that serve God are a
treasured possession of the Lord. There is a record maintained of those who serve God and
those who don’t. (Malachi 3:16-18)
Exodus 23:25-27
“So you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. And I will
take sickness away from the midst of you. 26 No one shall suffer miscarriage or be barren in your
land; I will fulfill the number of your days. “I will send My fear before you, I will cause confusion
among all the people to whom you come, and will make all your enemies turn their backs to
you.”
There are tremendous blessings and benefits when you serve God.
If you desire blessing, serving is a demand. God demands your service if you want him to bless
you. But without the right mindset serving God can be frustrating and discouraging. You must
know and believe that you are appointed by God.
Sowers Mentality
Every service rendered unto the Lord is a seed you sow; the seed you sow is bound to produce
a harvest.
Mark 4:26-28
“And He said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should [a]scatter seed on the ground, and
should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not
know how. For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full
grain in the head.”
Jesus said, the seed should sprout and grow. The seed you sow will spring up, grow up and
produce. Every time you sow a seed of service unto the Lord you will surely receive a reward
without fail. All your efforts and service unto the Lord will always produce fruit and never be in
vain.
Acts 10:1-5
“There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of what was called the
Italian Regiment, a devout man and one who feared God with all his household, who gave alms
generously to the people, and prayed to God always. About the ninth hour of the day he saw
clearly in a vision an angel of God coming in and saying to him, “Cornelius!” And when he
observed him, he was afraid, and said, “What is it, lord?” So he said to him, “Your prayers and
your alms have come up for a memorial before God.”
