1. Reported Speech (Câu trần thuật)
- Luôn luôn nhớ phải lùi thì. Hiện tại => Quá khứ.
VD1: “What do you do?” she asked me => She asked me what I did.
VD2: “I don’t like this dress” she said => She said that she didn’t like that dress.
- Với Wh-question: S + asked/told.. (+O) + what/when/where/why/how/who + S + V.
VD: “Who are you?” she asked me. => She asked me who I was (ko phải là who was I)
- Với Yes/No question: S + asked/told (+O) + IF + S + V
VD: “Do you like coffee?” she asked me => She asked me IF i liked coffee.
- Với câu cầu khiến: S + asked (+O) + TO VERB NGUYÊN THỂ
VD: “Close the door” she asked me => She asked me TO CLOSE THE DOOR.
2. Câu điều kiện loại 1
Cấu trúc: If + S + V, S + WILL/WON’T + V
(IF HIỆN TẠI ĐƠN, TƯƠNG LAI ĐƠN)
3. Indefinite and Quantifying Pronouns
Nobody < Very few, Hardly anyone < not many < a few < several < half < quite a few < a lot
< almost all < all, everyone
Lưu ý: Everyone, nobody, hardly anyone đi với động từ số ít. Còn các từ còn lại thì đi
với động từ số nhiều.
