Install Windows System Image Manager: This tool (part of the Windows Assessment and Show all
Deployment Kit - Windows ADK) helps you create and edit answer files.

Create an Answer File (unattend.xml or autounattend.xml): Use Windows SIM to add

settings and configurations, including:

Disk partitioning and formatting.

Specifying the Windows edition to install.

Setting the product key.
Network settings.
User account configurations.

Running Scripts: Use the RunAsynchronousCommand or RunSynchronousCommand

elements in the Microsoft-Windows-Deployment component to specify scripts that will
run during the installation process, or in the auditUser configuration pass, or post
OOBE.

3. Integrate the Unattend.xml Files with the USB:

For the windowsPE and offlineServicing configuration passes: Name the answer file
Autounattend.xml and place it at the root of the bootable USB drive.

For other configuration passes: Name the answer file Unattend.xml and place it at the
appropriate location within the USB drive's folder structure.

4. Boot and Install:

Boot the target computer from the USB drive.

Windows Setup will automatically read the Autounattend.xml file and apply the settings
during the initial part of the installation.
During later stages of the installation (if you've set it up that way), Windows will process
the Unattend.xml files located in the correct locations (e.g., within the Windows
directory on the installation media).
