Well Being Wednesday

🎙️Nikhat: Hey everyone! Welcome to another episode of AMITY WAVE FM! I’m Nikhat, your
official Well-being Ambassador—basically, I’m here to talk about all things mental, emotional,
and maybe even mildly existential. Today, we’re diving into a topic that’s both common and
crucial—self-awareness. And guess what? We’re doing it through a super chill and relatable
chat. I’ve got my awesome friend Tanya here with me.

🎙️Tanya: Hiiiii. So… people keep asking me what I want to do after college and honestly? I feel
like replying, “I don't even know what I’m eating for dinner.”

🎙️Nikhat: SAME. It’s like everyone expects us to have a 10-year plan ready at 17. The only thing
I’ve planned is what series I’m bingeing next!

🎙️Tanya: Right?! But my counselor told me something the other day that actually stuck—she
said self-awareness is the first step to figuring all this out.

🎙️Nikhat: Self-awareness? You mean like… realizing I turn into a gremlin when I’m hungry?

🎙️Tanya (: Okay, yes, that too. But more like understanding your strengths, weaknesses, what
kind of environment you thrive in, what stresses you out… stuff like that.

🎙️Nikhat: Ohhh. So like realizing whether I enjoy working in groups or flying solo? Or whether I
get excited by solving equations… or by painting a giant mural?

🎙️Tanya: Exactly! For me, I noticed I’m way more motivated when I’m working on something
meaningful—even if it’s hard. That’s why I’m considering careers in psychology or social work.

🎙️Nikhat: That’s really cool. I used to think I’d go into tech, but honestly? After 30 minutes in
front of a screen, my soul starts buffering.

🎙️Tanya: And see? That’s a great insight. Self-awareness doesn’t hand you a magic answer, but
it helps you ask the right questions.

🎙️Nikhat: I guess I need to stop comparing myself to others and start noticing what actually
lights me up. Like... am I a spreadsheet girl or a sparkly glue kind of girl?

🎙️Tanya: Yes! Your path doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. It just has to feel right for you.
Unless your dream is to nap for a living, in which case... same.

🎙️Nikhat: Wow, we should totally patent “Professional Napper.” But seriously, step one: figure
out what makes me come alive—and preferably doesn't involve Excel sheets.
🎙️Tanya: That’s the spirit! One honest thought at a time. And hey, it’s a process—not a one-day
makeover montage.

🎙️Nikhat: So true. And now, to wrap things up—as part of today’s Well-being Wednesday, your
teachers are going to give you a super fun activity. It’ll help you explore your strengths, talents,
and maybe even the weird superpowers you didn’t know you had. Like... being able to eat 12
samosas in one sitting.

🎙️Tanya: Enjoy the journey of figuring yourself out. And remember: You don’t need to have all
the answers today—just the curiosity to keep asking the questions.
