WRITTEN EXAMPLE
(00:01)
Yo. Okay. I have started a lot of these with yo, but I’m also recording a shit ton
of content so give me a break. Anyway, here we are back on fascinations. I’m
shooting this later on actually. I mean I did the original fascination videos a
few days back on March 19th. Today is now the 25th, but I want to do this video
where I’m going to actually write fascinations in real time. What’s crazy is just
yesterday, the 24th, Clayton Makepeace actually passed away so it’s a huge
huge bummer. I didn’t know him personally, but I mentioned that document,
the fascinations document that was from him and Tony Flores because that
was really impactful for me and a huge part of my development. Then actually
The Makepeace Method, the ultimate desktop copy coach, which is a really
long book about how to write good copy was really influential, too. So rest in
peace to Clayton, it’s really sad.
(01:12)
To jump into this, you probably are watching these in order; you just watched
the previous video so you’re not going to feel like you need a refresher. But
the quick refresher, here are the different types of bullets that we talked about
like the speedy, the plus, the named oddity, contrarian, never, list, secret, all
this stuff and we’ve got our list here. So this is a book for an info product that
we tried to launch. By we, I mean, me and Laura and a few partners from back
in the day and it never really worked out. It wasn’t necessarily successful, but
the book is here and I want to go through and share; just write some of these
fascinations for you in real time so you can see it happening. I figured that
would be helpful.
(02:07)
So first of all, by the way, these here that are fascinations: How to Legally and
Cheaply Stockpile Your Prescriptions, How to Legally Get Free Samples, How
to Use the Auto-Fill Prescription Loophole. You could take some of these and
write these down frankly, but I probably want to add a little more specificity to
these, so that’s why I’m not going to write them yet. I mean, some of these are
Stefan Georgi 3
Fascinations Written Example MODULE 6
like come on, 12 Common Herbs and Vegetables Lower Your Blood Pressure,
15 Essential OTC Medicines You Can’t Be Without, 11 Essential Oils You Must
Stockpile. So going back to like,
(02:45)
Let me do this, actually, let me with the list. I mean I actually will just pull a few
of these right here. 15 Essential OTC Medicines You Can’t Be Without If Stuff
Hits the Fan. I don’t know, I’m not sure why I capitalized all of these the whole
them, I’m actually not going to capitalize a lot of these. For the most part.
Um, sorry, vegetables to lower your blood pressure. We’ll come back to some
of the other ones. This was going to put a few of them, but let me do you’re
going to ask you to do these as a spreadsheet, too. You haven’t watched it
yet, but when you get to module number nine, which has got the subject line
matrix, you could totally do this same fascination for somewhere, somewhere
spreadsheets set up for fascinations.
(04:04)
But anyway, let’s just go through and pull out some examples here. I generally
feel like the introduction is not where I’m looking for the most sexy stuff.
This filing cabinet thing is interesting. Just looking at that because again,
this whole thing is about how to be prepare in a disaster so I’ll put maybe for
named oddity, The Mental Filing Cabinet technique that can keep you rational
and calm even in an emergency. I guess, something like that. We can also do
this so that we can differentiate. In that case, I’m really just taking “think of
your brain as a filing cabinet” during an emergency even if you’ve been taught
completely off guard, something like that is cool and then just scanning
through. How to Legally and Cheaply Stockpile Your Prescriptions; I’m going
to write that now, but I may expand upon it. “It won’t cost you a small fortune”
something probably about that without it costing you a small fortune.
(07:12)
I’m seeing steps here for how to nurture the patient/doctor relationship;
it looks like there’s four steps. Back to the bullet like The 4-step approach
to convincing your doctor to give you a year’s worth of meds without any
headaches, hassles, or feeling awkward and maybe do we want to get a hint
here? I can’t spell awkward. There we go, hint.
(08:04)
Let’s see here. Hint: It Takes 3 Visits Before. Now I know, again, I’m not being
Stefan Georgi 4
Fascinations Written Example MODULE 6
consistent with the caps for some reason, but don’t worry about it. Legally get
free samples. Free samples one that’s interesting so I’d maybe be actually a
how again: How to exploit a free sample loophole that can stock you up on
your lifesaving meds without you having to spend a penny. Something like
that is good.
(09:26)
Now I like this a lot here, “You would be amazed at how generous many
doctors are when it comes to unloading the sample closet.” What your doctor -
actually, I’ll probably put, I think I’m sure we can figure out something like,
What never to say to your doctor when you’re trying to stock up on a year’s
worth of prescription meds. Now you’re like hint: It starts with a three-letter
word. Making it up, but I’m sure I could figure it out.
(10:25)
But back to the unloading, Why the key to having a year’s worth of lifesaving
medication is probably sitting inside your doctor’s storage closet right now.
Just like, when to know that or something like let me ask a question, When is
the best time to ask your doctor to help you stock up on lifesaving meds? It’s
on the third visit and you’ll find out why plus what to say during this visit inside
the book. That’s not a glorious one, but whatever.
(11:42)
How to Use the Auto Fill Prescription Loophole. I’d probably put that as a named
oddity: The Auto Fill Prescription Loophole that can have drug companies
mailing excess - mailing surplus supplies of your most needed medications
right to your front door, something like that.
(12:35)
Cool, let’s go on another one here. Over-the-Counter Essentials. I don’t know
how many things are on this list. Let’s just make up that there’s 24. I would
count it if I was actually making the product. Going back to the list again, 24
Over - actually, I already had that in the 15 essential. That’s fine. Instant Ice
Picks just packs, it’s really interesting.
(13:23)
I mean, this sounds dangerous, but let’s do that. How to make an insulin shot
substitute for less than $20. It’s actually interesting: farm or ranch stores are
loaded with antibiotics which can be used for humans, penicillin sitting right
Stefan Georgi 5
Fascinations Written Example MODULE 6
in the fridge. Why one of the first places you should go for medicine during an
emergency isn’t the hospital, but your local farm store and you can do a hint.
Hint: there are two life-saving drugs probably sitting in their refrigerators right
now. This is, I guess the 15 OTCs probably.
(14:56)
It’s 23. I’ll do a bullet honestly like, The 23 Must-Have Medical - I don’t know
why I’m capitalizing this one - Supplies that you should add to your stockpile
right now and that cost less than $10 total. Skip the Neosporin and Use This
Instead, I feel this is a contrarian like, Neosporin is the best way to treat
infections, right? Not necessarily. It turns out there’s one natural antibiotic
that that’s just as effective and it grows on trees right here. This is using tea
tree oil so I’d put and you can...I’m trying to think of a way, I mean this tree
doesn’t grow right here in America. I want to figure out a way because I mean,
I guess I might add tea tree oil. There’s one natural oil that kills bacteria and
fungus much faster and it could be growing in your backyard right now. Then
you can do the page stuff so you could put this is page 39, I guess so you’d
be like page 39.
(17:33)
I’d probably put some of these specific ones, especially stuff that’s growing
everywhere like oh, people do grow peppermint. I’d probably be like the insanely
popular garden herb that relieves headaches and can stop indigestion fast so
you’ve got a speedy bullet. Lemons are often like, some people think lemon is
a bug; there’s a lot of good things you can do with this lemon one.
(18:40)
But going back to the Neosporin, Why you should never use Neosporin as a
disinfectant during an emergency at least if you have access to this common
natural oil instead - I don’t want to use instead. Use this natural oil instead
just to give you a never. Again, legal, I don’t want people talking about never
use Neosporin.
(19:19)
Back to the lemon, though. It’s a cleaner, a sore tooth. Maybe, Plus, how
putting two drops of this common citrus juice onto a cotton swab can relieve
toothaches in seconds. So you got a combination of the speedy and the plus
there. Bug repellent; maybe something, Use somewhere where citrus trees are
common? Inside you’ll - this isn’t a why. Why squeezing a common citrus fruit
Stefan Georgi 6
Fascinations Written Example MODULE 6
that grows across the Southern United States can repel mosquitoes and most
other types of bugs in seconds. I might do this one as how. Nah, I think I’ll do
why. I can do both. I mean, really, I would make that decision later.
(21:36)
Chamomile, rosemary, lemongrass, orange oil. Garden pharmacy. Maybe
another. So Aloe vera maybe like...nah, let’s skip that for now. I like Weeds
That Are Actually Life-Saving Medicines. How many are there? 15 of them so
maybe like, 15 roadside weeds that can actually be used, it’s guaranteed at
least one of these grow near where you live right now. This is a 15, but the
thing with contrarian, this could be used as roadside weeds more than the
what never. Oh, it’s actually more than that. I don’t know, I’m going to write
that we have 15.
(23:55)
Ginger, horseradish. Maybe like, How to combine ginger, horseradish and two
more super common - let’s just replace just two times - and one more common
spice. Hello. Give me a second. One minute. One more super common spices
together can create a super antibiotic that flushes away inflammation and
keeps you safe. Something like that would be cool. Oh, actually it’s a couple
of things. I hate the way this is formatted, to be honest with you. It’s one,
two, three, four, maybe five, it’s actually seven ingredients. Garlic and four
more common ingredients. It would be to create. That destroys most harmful
bacteria on contact. Let’s do it like that, I like that more.
(25:57)
Anyway, it’s kind of cool. All right, so let’s find a couple. We have a when, we
have a what. I’m surprised we have no secret, which we usually have a ton of.
We could just do like, The secret list of blood pressure lowering herbs that
your doctor will probably never tell you about. I mean, that’s a pretty basic
one, but whatever. That’s good for secret. The secret meat part that... Secret
to lowering your cholesterol... The secret and forgotten meat part that can
lower cholesterol fast. Hint: It’s an organ that nobody, it’s not something you
find in most restaurants. Something like that could be cool.
(27:43)
What else are we missing here? This inhaler one, Why you should never rely on
just an inhaler during a prolonged disaster even if you’ve got plenty of backups.
Here’s another why and then never. Coffee helping, A surprising household
Stefan Georgi 7
Fascinations Written Example MODULE 6
powder that can quickly stop an asthma attack. Hint: You sniff it. Maybe
something like that hint there. Raw honey. There’s a bunch of interesting ones
on asthma attacks like white pine bark helping with arthritis, I’d do something
like, Think your arthritis is too far gone? Think your sore joints are too far gone
for help? Think again. This common tree bark can stop even the most intense
cases of arthritis in their tracks. Now again, I don’t know from a compliance
standpoint, but we’re just doing these as examples.
(30:48)
So I guess we have a lot here. I mean, I could really keep going. I already did
half this book but hopefully, you can see how this is beneficial? I really, I love
writing fascinations, they are super fun. I mean, there’s so many more I can
do. Snake bites, I mean, God I kind of want to keep going, but let me value my
time. So hopefully, this is helpful and glad I could share it.
