Requirements for an error-free hyperMILL® installation

In Windows 7, Windows 8.1 und Windows 10


To ensure your hyperMILL® installation runs smoothly, please note the following points:

1. Your hard drive should have at least 5 GB of free storage space.


2. Are your operating system and CAD platform supported by hyperMILL®?
Please check this in the release notes of the Readme-EN.chm file under ‘Platforms and interfaces’.
3. Log on as local administrator.
4. Deactivate Windows 7's User Account Control.
5. Stop your antivirus software’s scanning process.

OPEN MIND also recommends that you exclude the following directories, file types, processes and
services from your virus scan:
