I. OBJECTIVES
Content Standard : The learners demonstrate an understanding the knowledge, skills, and
attitudes required in maintaining kitchen tools, equipment, and work
premises.
Performance Standard : The learners independently maintain clean kitchen tools, equipment, and
premises.
Learning : LO 1. Clean, sanitize, and store kitchen tools and equipment.
Competencies
Objectives : 1.5 store cleaned kitchen tools and equipment safely in the designated
space.
Sub-task : At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to state the importance of
proper storage of kitchen tools and equipment, with at least 80% accuracy.

Topic : Proper Storage of Kitchen Tools and Equipment
Concept : “Cleanliness is next to Godliness”

IV. PROCEDURE
1. Preliminary Activity
a. Review
b. Motivation
Using an abstract painting, the teacher will ask the following question: 1.) What can you
see from the painting? And 2.) Can you say that it is a work of art? Why or why not?
c. Presentation of the Lesson
With the help of the visuals, the teacher will present the lesson for the day.
2. Activity
The teacher will show twelve (12) pictures in a poster form.
The teacher will then call 12 students to identify if the certain picture is properly organized or
not and have them explain their answer.
3. Analysis
Why is it important to have an organized kitchen? Explain your answer.
4. Abstraction
The teacher will conduct a generalization of the lesson for the day.
5. Application
On a daily basis, how will you apply proper storage and maintenance in your respective
kitchen?
V. EVALUATION
On a ¼ sheet of paper, the teacher will ask ten (10) questions out of the lesson for the day.
VI. ASSIGNMENT
Watch a video presentation on how to sanitize kitchen tools and equipment and make a narrative
report about what you have learned in the presentation. Be guided by the following questions:
