2. What is Socket and its type? Explain the various fields of Socket Structure? Also
explain the functional calls of the Berkeley Socket.

3 Explain the TCP congestion control in detail? Differentiate b/w Congestion control
and flow control?

4. Discuss various Qualities of Services (QOS) primitives looked at the transport layer?

5. Discuss in detail TCP connection management? Also explain the working of three
way handshaking in connection management?

6. Explain the following:-


i) Write the steps of Connection management from Client’s Point of view.

7. What is cryptography? Also explain the Symmetric cipher model in detail with its
