Article 1 (wireless fingerprint attendance management system)

Abstract
This paper presents the design methodology of a simple and high real time Zigbee -
biometric system for easy and time saving attendance management using the finger prints of the
employees at any organization along with the employee incoming and outgoing log maintenance.
Firstly employee's fingerprints are scanned by software and an identity number is allotted as their
enrollment. During the attendance time when employees impress their fingerprints, against the
scanner, the system compares the new fingerprint patterns and the connection between various
points in the fingerprint with the enrollment database. A match is recorded as a knock exercising
acquisition, processing, transmission, matching. Through this automatic system, time and
manpower is reduced to the great extent.

Conclusion

During the verification phase, this system can collect real time fingerprint image signals,
process the fingerprint image, extract fingerprint features, form the template based on the
extracted features, and then match the template against the templates stored in database to
identify/verify the person. Finally, the LCD displays the results of recognition process. A
program is coded in 'C' language to implement the algorithms for enhancement, minutiae
extraction and matching processing. Apart from that, MA TLAB was used to demonstrate the
various functions and processing methods used in image processing of the fingerprint. The
outputs for all the trial runs were recorded. On observation, the designed system gives
satisfactory results.
Article 2 (real time locating system using RFID for internet of thing)
Abstract
In the present, attendance techniques are usually supplemented manually, because the
number of university students is increasing within training institutes, the problem with getting
hold of a hand requires human effort to report and maintain student attendance. Consequently,
human errors are common in this process. In recent years, there has been an increase in the
number of applications based on RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) systems. RFID
technology facilitates automatic wave identification using passive and active passive electronic
labels with convenient readers. In this paper, an attempt has been made to address the
problem of continuous attendance of lectures in developing countries and to find the location
of special students using RFID technology. The implementation of RFID for attending student
attendance as developed and deployed in this study is capable of eliminating lost time during
manual attendance gathering and an opportunity for education administrators to capture
classroom statistics for sharing appropriate outcomes Attendance and for further managerial
decisions.

Conclusion

The main purpose of this project is to monitor student participation in lectures, teaching
and laboratory sessions more efficiently and to send this participation to their parents. This
system contradicts students from the bunking class through SMS sending parental functions.
Biometrics has been used effectively for more than a decade for the time and attendance
system. Fingerprints are unique to each individual and cannot be separated
