Brick Required Quantity

Calculations (including 10mm mortar joints):

• Effective Brick Lengths: Brick + Mortar Joint

• Effective Brick Height: Brick + Mortar Joint

× Longer Brick: 230 mm + 10 mm = 240 mm

× Shorter Brick: 114 mm + 10 mm = 124 mm

× Height Brick: 65 mm + 10 mm = 75 mm

× Number of courses: 1000 mm /75 mm = 13 courses

• Chimney Side (including middle wall):

* Total length: 5653 mm

* Effective brick length: 240 mm

Number of bricks: 5653 mm / 240 mm ≈ 23.55 Round up* to 24 bricks.

24 bricks/length * 13 Courses = 312 bricks

• Middle Wall:

* Total length: 3910 mm

* Effective brick length: 240 mm

Number of bricks: 3910 mm / 240 mm ≈ 16.29 Round up* to 17 bricks.

17 bricks/length * 13 Courses = 221 bricks

• Burner Side:

* Total length: 5653 mm

* Effective brick length: 124 mm

Number of bricks: 5653 mm / 124 mm ≈ 45.58. Round up* to 46 bricks.

46 bricks/length * 13 Courses = 598 bricks

• Side Walls LHS and RHS (including middle wall): (Number of walls 5):

* Total length: 3900 mm

* Effective brick length: 124 mm

Number of bricks: 3900 mm / 124 mm ≈ 31.45. Round up* to 32 bricks.

32 bricks/length * 13 Courses = 416 bricks * 5 Side = 2080 bricks

Deduction Calculations:

deductions. Assume a brick covers approximately 75mm x 240mm = 18000 mm²

deductions. Assume a brick covers approximately 75mm x 124mm = 9300 mm²

• Chimney Side (2 holes):

× Area of one hole: 450mm × 450mm = 202500 mm²

Approximate bricks per hole: (202500 mm²) / (18000) ≈ 11.25 bricks (Round up to a safe estimate)

× Total bricks for both holes: 12 × 2 = 24 bricks

• Burner Side (3 holes):

× Area of one hole: 520mm × 520mm = 270400 mm²

Approximate bricks per hole: (270400 mm²) / (9300) ≈ 29.07 bricks (Round up to a safe estimate)

× Total bricks for both holes: 30 × 3 = 90 bricks

• Side Walls LHS and RHS (including middle wall): (2 Inspection Window):

× Area of one hole: 600mm × 450mm = 270000 mm²

Approximate bricks per hole: (270000 mm²) / (18000) ≈ 15 bricks (Round up to a safe estimate)

× Total bricks for both holes: 15 × 2 = 30 bricks

Total deduction = 24+90+30= 144

Total Bricks (after deductions):

Total deduction = 24+90+30= 144 Pcs

Total Calculated = 312+221+598+2080= 3211 Pcs

Net Required Number of Bricks = 3211 - 144=3067 Pcs
