ABSTRACT

The Automatic Hammer project is designed to reduce human effort and increase
efficiency in repetitive hammering operations commonly seen in manufacturing
and construction industries. This system uses a mechanical cam-follower
mechanism powered by an electric motor to automate the hammering process. As
the cam rotates, the follower moves up and down, simulating the striking action
of a manual hammer. The hammer's motion is consistent and can be adjusted for
speed and force as per requirement.

This project aims to showcase the integration of basic mechanical principles with
automation to simplify labor-intensive tasks. It minimizes human fatigue, ensures
precision, and enhances productivity. The system is cost-effective, easy to
fabricate, and suitable for small-scale workshops and industrial applications.
