TITLE
“FIFA 18 PLAYER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM”

ABSTRACT:

Managing the ever-increasing numbers of players in different parts of the

world is a huge task. This project is aimed at developing a desktop-based
application named ‘FIFA 18 player management system’ for managing
players using a robust database at the backend and a Web based GUI at the
frontend.

The application will allow users to track complete details about a player
starting from his personal details, going through club and nationality
information to right down to his technicalities at each position in
footballing world. The software also allows users to view the whole list of
players, teams and footballing statistics at once, thereby helping them build
their perspective. Users have the privilege to add new players to a particular
team, and to modify their records when the player decides to retire. FIFA
18 player management system also allows users to access players based on
their rating other than their preferential position of playing thus guiding
managers to build a strong positional team by selecting best rated player at
each position. In conclusion, this application will come extremely handy in
maintaining player spread across different teams and nations.

INTRODUCTION:
The project titled “FIFA 18 Player management system” is player
management software for monitoring and accessing players based on their
FIFA 18 PC/XBOX Game ratings. This project is developed using HTML,
CSS and JavaScript for front-end and PHP, MySQL for back-end, which
focuses on basic operation like adding a new player, new statistics, searching
players with detailed information and edit as they grow their skills.

This project is a web based application designed and developed to help user’s
access players and organize teams. This software is easy to use, and it features
a familiar and well- thought-out attractive user interface, combined with
strong searching, insertion, and deletion with procedure capabilities.
Analysing players have been a huge task performed by professional scouting
agents who are spread around the world. From personal details to football
technicalities, FIFA 18 Management system allows easy maintenance record
of such skilled youth talent.

GOALS:
 Collecting, pre-processing and loading complete data set of player.
 Clustering top player based on overall rating.
 To identify best possible squad based on formations.
 Clustering young underrated player with the high potential.
 Sentiment analysis using twitter to understand feedback of FIFA 18.
 Applying machine learning algorithm for prediction purposes.
 Creating basic visualizations like histograms and line charts

OBJECTIVES:
 To develop an application that can help people across the globe who want a
choose a particular set of players according to their needs some hoe confused with all
the option available.
 We aim at providing a powerful and accurate mechanism with a strong
database with an interactive user interface which will be containing data about the
player and will sort out the most appropriate players according to the need of the
customer.
.

MODULES:
 Player Roster Management:
 Manage all players in the team, including their current skills, position, and other
attributes.
 Features to add, remove, and adjust players.
 Monitor player contract status, potential growth, and player valuations.

 Transfers & Contracts:

 Handle player transfers and contract negotiations.
 Facilitate buying, selling, and loaning players with club negotiations.
 Keep track of contract expiry dates and renewal options.

 Player Performance Tracker:

 Track player performance in matches, including goals, assists, and other relevant
statistics.
 Compare player stats over multiple matches to identify strengths and
weaknesses.
 Maintain injury logs and track player recovery time.

 Tactical Setup & Formation Management:

 Allow the manager to set tactical formations and strategies based on the current
roster.
 Assign individual roles and instructions to players based on their attributes and
the match requirements.

 Financial Management:
 Track the club's budget and financial transactions, including player salaries,
transfer fees, and bonuses.
 Set player wage budgets and manage club expenses.

 Reports & Analytics:

 Generate in-depth performance reports on players and team dynamics.
 Analyze player growth, injury history, and performance consistency to make
data-driven decisions.

Existing System
1. FIFA 18 Career Mode (Player Management)
Career Mode in FIFA 18 offers a deep and immersive management experience,
where players take control of a club and manage its roster, transfers, finances,
and match tactics. The player management system is comprehensive and spans
multiple areas, including squad management, training, player growth,
transfers, and more.
Key Features:
 Player Profiles & Attributes
 Each player has a unique profile that includes key attributes (e.g., pace, shooting,
passing, dribbling, defending, physical).
 Players also have potential ratings, indicating the highest overall rating they can
achieve based on their growth.
 Contract Management
 Players' contracts are central to the management system. Players can have their
contracts renewed, and you must negotiate wages, duration, and clauses.
 Players whose contracts are expiring may request transfers or join other clubs.
Contract negotiations are an essential part of Career Mode, involving decisions
on wages, contract length, and incentives

2. FIFA 18 Ultimate Team (FUT)

In FIFA 18 Ultimate Team (FUT), the system revolves around managing a
team of player cards in collectible, dynamic format. While the primary focus is
not traditional player management like in Career Mode, there are still several
elements that require player management skills.

Key Features:
 Player Cards & Attributes:
 Each player is represented as a card, which has a rating based on their in-game
stats (e.g., dribbling, passing, shooting, etc.).
 Players in FUT are ranked with overall ratings (e.g., 80 OVR, 90 OVR) and
special cards (e.g., Team of the Week, Player of the Month) exist for standout
performances in real life.

 Squad Building & Chemistry

 You build a team by buying, selling, and trading player cards on the transfer
market.
 Chemistry plays a big role in how players perform in matches. A high team
chemistry means players perform better together. Chemistry is built by grouping
players from the same nation, league, or club.
 The formation and player positions within the squad also affect chemistry,
ensuring that squad building is as important as the player’s individual stats.

Proposed System
 Player Management
The central feature of any football management system is the ability to
effectively manage your squad of players. This system would allow you to
oversee player development, contracts, morale, and performance over time.
 Transfer Management
Transfer management allows you to buy, sell, and loan players. This section
would implement a realistic transfer market with dynamic player valuations
based on real-time game performance, reputation, and demand.

 Tactical & Squad Management

Managers need a toolset to shape their squad for specific matches, competition,
and tactical styles. This system would allow users to control not just player
selection but how the team plays together.
 Financial & Contract Management
The financial system will track player wages, transfer spending, and contract
negotiations, providing an essential layer of realism and difficulty
for the manager.

System requirement :
One of the most difficult tasks is that, the selection of the software, once system
requirement is known is determining whether a software package fits the
requirements. After initial selection further security is needed to determine the
desirability of software compared with other candidates. This section first
summarizes the application requirement question and then suggests more
detailed comparisons.

Hardware Requirement
1. 32/64-bit processor
2. i3 or greater intel processor chip
3. 1.7 or more GHz processor
Software Requirement
1. Windows 7 or higher version OS
2. Google chrome v70.0.3538 or greater
3. XAMPP web server
4. Brackets web editor

Conclusion:
This project is developed to nurture the needs of a user/scouting agent to
monitor players and inspect their technicalities from every aspect on a football
field. This is a computerized version of player management system which will
benefit the players as well as the staff of a club.
In this entire process one can search player details, add new skilled players,
update ratings and view all the player statistics. The software takes care data and
carefully stores all the player information. It provides security and encapsulation
by the use of stored procedures.
