The UNITE Club voted to do a Serving Seniors drive to collect items to send to the Hyden Manor Nursing Home for the residents for the month of March. The items we are collecting are card games (playing cards, UNO, ROOK, etc.), toiletries for men and women such as body wash, lotions, soaps, shampoo and conditioners, body sprays, word search books, crossword puzzles, crayons and markers. Collection bins will be located in the UNITE Room. All items must be new and in good condition. We are excited to be able to provide a small service to the residents at the Hyden Manor Nursing Home.
The girls and boys basketball season has ended. All the ball players worked very hard and had a lot of fun. We would like to thank Hobert Couch, Lori Wooton and Tina Thomas for coaching the teams. The cheerleaders worked hard this season. Congratulations to the B team cheerleading team for winning 2nd Place in the district cheerleading competition. The cheeleades would like to thank Dawn Mitchell and Lori Wooton and to all the team members for their hard work. The girls volleyball season started this week with a new coach, Nikki Lewis. We are very excited to get started.
