Things to know in data analysis:-

1.Frequency Analysis
2.Descriptive Analysis
3.Reliablity Test
4.Normality Test
5.Correlation
6.Regression
7.Cross Tabulation (Chi-Square Test)
8.T-Test (One Sample T-Test, Independent Sample T-Test, Paired Sample T-
Test)
9.Anova
10.Compute Variable
1. Frequency analysis :-

Counting of each data, variable in table form or graphics form.

2. Descriptive analysis :-

Mean ,median ,mode ,standard deviation ,kurtosis ,skewness, range

,minimum ,maximum ,standard error of mean, standard error ,
variance

3. Reliability test :-

In the instrument all the questions which are in the ordinal scale is
tested for reliability the alpha score above ( .7 ) it is called highly
reliable instrument .

4. Normality test:-

we use skewness and kurtosis for normality test. If the value of

skewness is in between -2 to +2 and if the if the value of kurtosis is
between -7 to +7.

5. Correlation:- (both are scales variable)

It is used to find out the relationship between two scale variable ,its
result ranges from (+-0 to +-1). – indicate inverse relation and +
indicate positive relation.

If the correlation is -.6 then the relation is moderate and inverse

relation.

6. Regression:-

Regression shows two result:-

1. It provides regression equation for predicting future value.
2. It shows overall effect of all dependent variable on independent
variable.

Correlation main ham do variable ka relation dekhte hai, but

regression main ham alag alag variables ka relationship kisi ek variable
par dekhte hai

7. Chi-square test:-

Here both the variables are nominal.

Ex:- gender & color

8. T-test:- (one sample)

One sample t-test is used to determine if a population mean is

different from specified value.

(it is a tool for hypothesis testing)

9. Independent sample t-test:-

It is a statistical test that compares the means of two independent

groups to determine if they are slightly different.

10.Paired sample t-test:-

Compares the mean of two measurement taken from same subject

or object (before and after).
11.ANOVA:-

It is the test between the two nominal data where one nominal
data have more than one group.

12.DATA VISUALISATION:-
