GlobalProtect Installation Procedures For Business Partners
***Please ensure that you coordinate this installation with your company's IT
department***
You will be prompted to Log into Okta. This is Colgate's Okta, please use your provided
Colgate business partner ID and password

After login, click on the below button
This will open a new tab with the below options. Select the option that is appropriate for
your device:

When the agent is downloaded, run the installer with Administrator privileges.
After the installation completes, reboot the laptop to ensure the registry changes are
done properly.
If you're currently using AnyConnect, quit (not simply disconnect) from it via the system
tray by right clicking on the agent and selecting 'Quit':

You will be presented by the following screen. In the empty box enter the following
exactly: cp-vpn.colpal.com
NOTE: The above is an FQDN, not a URL: it does not use the 'https://' or 'www.'
After entering the portal address, click on 'Connect' and you'll be prompted by Okta to
log in, you'll need to use your Colgate provided business partner username and
password.

Installation for MacOS :-
You will be prompted to Log into Okta. This is Colgate's Okta, please use your provided
Colgate business partner ID and password

This will open a new tab with the below options. Select the option for Download Max
32/64 bit GlobalProtect agent
**NOTE: The agent will need to be installed with Administrator level privileges**
Important: There will be a series of prompts giving the agent permissions it requires
please ensure to follow the below as shown or the agent could face issues after the
install is completed

Click 'Continue' as shown below
Select both GlobalProtect and GlobalProtect System Extensions options and then click
Continue:

Click on 'Install' on the below window:
After this you may be prompted to enter the Administrator password for the Mac. Please
provide the credentials:

The agent will ask for extra permissions as it is installing:
On the System Extension Blocked pop up click on 'Open Security Preferences' to allow
the GlobalProtect app access:
Click on the lock on the lower left corner and authenticate using your MacOS
Administrator username and password:

After authenticating click on Allow:
The installation will continue, if there are any other prompts please provide the
application the permissions it needs to function properly:

Once all of the above steps are complete, you'll receive the following and can safely click
on 'Close':
After a successful installation, please reboot the Mac to ensure that all kernel changes
are completed properly.

After the reboot, you'll see the icon for the GlobalProtect agent in the Menu Bar as
shown below:
Clicking on the agent will present you with following screen. Click on Get Started:
If you see the below error, click away from the agent's GUI, and then click on the agent
icon again

In the empty box enter the following cp-vpn.colpal.com and then click on Connect
NOTE: The above is a FQDN, not a URL: it does not use the 'https://' or 'www.'
NOTE: You may receive further MacOS prompts asking for permissions after
connecting for the first time, if you do, then please provide the agent with access:

After clicking on 'Connect' you'll be greeted by Okta, log in with your Colgate provided
business partner username and password:
After successfully logging into Okta, the agent will be connected to Prisma Access:
NOTE: The gateway shown in the agent's window is dependent upon where you are
physically located

Installation for Linux :-
If you are using a Debian, Ubuntu, RedHat, or CentOS Linux Distro please go to the
below link to download the installation files for the GlobalProtect Linux agent. No other
Linux Distros are supported at this time:

If you run into issues when using the GlobalProtect agent to perform Colgate work
please open a case with our IT Service Center at GIT Support Portal, or through your
Colgate Business Partner Sponsor.
