INSTRUCTIONS TO STUDENTS

V BCom Regular

1. During the beginning of III Semester students should be assigned Community Service
and it shall be monitored by the Mentors.

2. The Community Service may be carried out in any type of Non-Profit Service
Organization’s such as, Panchayat Raj Institutions, Public Hospital, Old Age Homes,
Orphanage Houses, Sports clubs, Women's organizations, Neighbourhood
organizations, Religious or Educational organizations, Red Cross, Lions Club, Rotary
Clubs, Youth Service Associations, Or in any other social service organization.

3. Minimum of 15 days Field Service shall be ensured.

4. The Report on Community Service shall be submitted within 45 days of


commencement of V semester.

5. The Report shall consist of Organisation's Profile, Nature of Service & Experience of
the student, along with Certificate from the Organisation in about 20 pages.

6. The related Marks & Credit will be awarded in the V Semester.

7. The reports are to be prepared with computer printout only.


8. The font size to be used in the report must be Times New Roman - size 12, with 2 line
spacing.
9. Pages in the report are to be serially numbered by mentioning the same at the right
bottom corner of the page with font size 8.
10. Reports are to be spiral bound.
11. Students should submit original copy of the Internship report to the respective
Mentors/Guides.
12. Guide certificate should be signed by the guide.
13. The original copy of the company certificate should be retained by the students and a
colour Photocopy to be used while binding.
14. The same Internship report to be submitted to the college on or
before………………………………..

V BCom Honours
GUIDELINES FOR PROJECT ON START-UPS AND INNOVATIVE BUSINESS
IDEAS
1. Student to undertake Project on startups and innovative business ideas and the focus

should be on idea generation and implementation, product development, funding

assistance, etc., for a minimum of three weeks immediately after the completion of

IV Semester Examinations and shall submit the report within 45 days from the

commencement of the V Semester.

2. The college to evaluate the above said project in the Fifth Semester for 100 marks and

shall submit the copy of project marks list to the University at the assigned time

before the commencement of the Fifth Semester End Examinations. The said project

shall carry 3 credits in the third semester.

3. The reports are to be prepared with computer printout only.


4. The font size to be used in the report must be Times New Roman - size 12, with 2 line
spacing.
5. Pages in the report are to be serially numbered by mentioning the same at the right
bottom corner of the page with font size 8.
6. Reports are to be spiral bound.
