LEARNING EVIDENCE 1: INSTRUCTIONS

1. Create a short video (3 to 5 minutes) documenting an artwork of one of the eleven IP tribes of Davao City. It could be a native
delicacy, a mural, a famous sculpture or painting, an applied art (clothing or accessories), a musical instrument, a dance, a piece of
music, etc. Remember that art is something that is man-made. You may view the links provided in the UVE (under “Essential
Resources”) as reference.
2. Members of the group should be part of the documentation. This means I should be able to see you in the video and your name in
the credits.
3. While you may include footage taken from public domain sites, your documentary should be 80% your own footage. Do not just
capture footage. Make your documentation informative as well. You may highlight a particular aspect of your chosen art form. You
may also include interviews with a member of the IP tribe you are documenting.
4. You may work on this individually or you may work as a pair or as a trio. Please do not ask me, “Ma’am p’wede upat?” We all know
how to divide
5. Include a script or a rundown sheet in your video submission. Refer to the rubric below to know how you will be graded and to the
sample script format to know how to go about it.
6. Uploading your videos to a public site is your choice. It is not required. I will not be grading based on the number of “likes” or
“reactions” or “shares.”
7. There is no need for multiple submissions. If you worked with a partner or with a team, you only need to submit one file. Just make
sure that the names of the members are indicated in the script.
8. Deadline for the submission of your LE 1 is on April 28, 2025 for MW classes and April 29, 2025 for TTh classes. Place them all in
one folder in a flash drive (1 per class) so I can transfer them to my computer at work and then return the flash drive to you after.
9. Have fun, be creative, and be proud of your culture.
